Feature:
It didn't come with a cable... this really upset me, especially because this is supposed to be a kit, and the box it came in even said "Everything (underlined) that you need to start playing" ... duh. But to remedy this I bought a nice, inexpensive Metallic Red Fender California Coil, it works much better than anything they would have sent in the package and looks really really nice with the cherry red SG, so I guess it turned out for the best. Besides that, the tuner is really great and easy to use, the 3 picks are nice, gig bag is sturdier than most others that come with similar packages, and the strap is decent. Also, the DVD that came in the package was pretty cool, it teaches 3 basic chords and "Louie Louie", shows you how to set things up and change strings... so it was moderately helpful. The amp does its job well, the boost button is really nice and it can actually get some volume and distortion. My only complaint with the amp is that I sometimes notice a slight crackle or hum, usually after playing for a few hours.
Quality:
This is put together very well. I HIGHLY recommend getting the cherry red color... the pictures on the internet cannot capture the beauty of every part of the guitar. The body is a nicely finished darkish red.. it's hard to describe, but I was immensely impressed by how the guitar actually looked. I've had it for a month, and all the parts are still together.. one part of the bridge was a tiny bit loose but it doesnt affect anything, and the screws on the bridge get a bit messed up/stripped if you aren't careful when you are adjusting it with a screwdriver. I can see it lasting a while, I just need to get a decent hard case. Also, the strings rattle occasionally, I would recommend replacing them within 3 months.
Value:
Easily worth around twice as much as the price for all this stuff.
Desirability:
As I said before... the guitar itself is sooooooooo hott. ;)
The symmetry and curves match the cherry red color, and it feels nice when you are actually playing it and it's resting on your leg.
Sound:
The guitar sounds great, clean and with distortion. It can pull of whatever sort of sound you are looking for.
Ease of Use:
Really good action, easy to get the sound you're looking for from the amp, easy to tune and play.
Support:
Haven't had to deal with them... my only issue was that I was mislead to think there would be an instrument cable included... and there wasn't.
Overall:
Buy it. End of story.
