The Epiphone Les Paul Ultra II is all the Les Paul you expect, with enough extras to make it a new must-have instrument for any serious player. Epiphone has a habit of starting revolutions. In 2005 , when most people said it couldn't be done, the world's favorite luthier said that yes, it could, and invented the first Les Paul to feature a chambered body, giving even more guitarists the change to enjoy killer Les Paul tone and sustain. That model was the Les Paul Ultra. Learn More...

10 out of 10Feature:
got it with hard case, manual, and cord. ease of use and a lot lighter than a standard LP
Quality:
i have looked hard and can not find any flaws anywhere, perfect sound right out of the box, no adjustments needed
Value:
i assure you when more people play and hear this the price will go up, very good value
Desirability:
this LP is beautiful, and the way the nano controlls are on the backside and the pickup is hidden in the fretboard it looks like a classic LP, but once you hear it you know its much more.
Sound:
the sound of this LP is awesome! its the best of both worlds, i must have read about a 1000 reviews before i bought it, to all thoses guys who said they could not get the sound they were looking for, well, i guess your not doing something right, I am playing the nano pickup through a genz benz stereo 60 acustic amp and the ultra II has better sound than my tak. the humms. are runing into a carvin sx200 and sounds like a classis LP, as i said, best sounding guitar ive ever played, you will not regret buying this LP.
Ease of Use:
by just turning a knob, you can go from smooth and clean to rock,
Support:
have not had to use.
Overall:
i plan to have this LP for a long, long time

10 out of 10Feature:
The NanoMag is great!!!It offers true acoustic like qualities and makes this Les Paul one of the most versital ones out there
Quality:
Not quite a Gibson but deffinitly getting closer...
Value:
deffinitly... it could probally sell for it's msrp once more people catch on to it
Desirability:
I'ts deffinitly a beautiful guitar. Feels pretty nice and sounds great...
Sound:
This guitar sounds like a classic Gibson Les Paul and with the quick turning of a few nobs it sounds like an acoustic guitar with a brigt crisp clean sound. Heck you can play both sounds togeter if you want...I love this guitar it is especially good for me because I play a lot of Christian music and it can go between styles easily. I just hope Gibson takes a page from little brothers book and starts producing something like this themself. I'd love that quality. The only thing that weirds me out about the guitar is that it is so much lighter than my Les Paul... I don't see how it can have as good of sustain as the orriginal without the shear mass of it.
Ease of Use:
This guitar can even make the perpetual beginner (like myself) sound good.
Support:
I've dealt with Gibson but not Eppiphone...
Overall:
I'm not sure if I'll buy it this year or write to Gibson and see if they will make one any time soon. I'm going to need to buy one soon though it is very versital has great tone and is overall just a great sounding guitar. Once I get it it will stay with my collectiion for life. It combines my two loves in one guitar Les Pauls and acoustics...

10 out of 10Feature:
Normal accessories. Hard case, tools, manual etc... Selection of components OK, (it is so classic.....)
Wood work is fine. Only negative point is that the gold plating on the mikes and on the tune o matic is too thin, it is partly worn out and one can see the nickel surface under it.
Quality:
It is really made well like a Swiss Watch. Factory quality control is well managed. Only negative point is that the gold plating is too thin and by the time it starts to worn out. I can depend on it. Usually we have allways one or two spare quitars in a concert. Last time we needed one; my colleque´s Strato didn´t work. He had tightened the jack before the concert and due that the welding has broken in the jack. We started the show an suddenly he noticed that the Srato didn´t work
Value:
Really, this product is worth of price
Desirability:
Actually it has a great aesthetic marvel an top desing. It is still beautifull. You understand what a quitar means to a quitarist; it is like a mate or a girlfriend?
Sound:
That is my instrument and tool. I am using Fender Hot Rod Deluxe 100 W amp. Very good highs, mids, and lows. Great sound. Top gear
Ease of Use:
Very easy and light to play, good for fingers in daily use. Tuning is OK. Electrical parts OK. I have this version with original Gibson mikes, they are OK.
Support:
It was OK all parts are available. That is important when the isntrument is in hard daily use. I am satisified.
Overall:
I´ll never sell it, but buy a Telecaster for a second one. There is no reason to sell a good item. The quitars are individuals. Some items of the same brand sound better and are better, even if you have a good brand.. Once my former guitar was stolen, I got a new one and it was not good...
