These is an on-off switch. Other than that, its a dynamic vocal mic

Quality:
As I already said, this mic is very good quality. We are using the same one now since 5 years. Never any problem. Yes, this mic is reliable. Forget anything with the name SM on it.

Good value, can´t get better

Sound:
I gave it a 10, here is why. This mic, so it is stated, is good for female vocals. Well I am working with a female singer since about five years now. During these years I have tried many mics on her vocals, several Shure´s, incl. the SM58, JHS, Beyer, Audio Technica to mention a few. But everytime I came back to the EV367. This really seems to be a great mic for female vocals. The sound, well, the sound is as it should be, full, rich and clear. The only mic that sounded good in comparison with the EV ND367 was the Shure Beta 87a, but this is a condenser.

Ease of Use:
As any. But maybe better due to its great sound and good quality

Support:
I do not know, but if the EV support is as good as this mic, then they have deserved a ten, but I do not know, so its a five

Please see what I already wrote. Overall,this is a great sounding prof. microphone of high quality.

Overall:
I've had the "sister" version of this mike since 1991....It has never failed me....its longevity has amazed me. I have used this mike in tandem with the SM58 and the sound of the EV blows away the SM58. I don't even try to use the SM58 any more, and am strongly urging my mates to all upgrade to this mike.
