Feature:
Uh....its a sub. It has Inputs....and a speaker......
It does have nice recessed handles. Im nit-picking....but some casters would be nice.....oh well. I added my own.
Quality:
I blew my first one up. Was not overdriving it, it was not too loud, it just blew......but the replacement has worked great ever since. (lemon??) The 1/4 jack nuts kept loosening up...i finally loc-tited them to keep them on.
Value:
EV is a great brand, with Great products. This sub is Good for what it is. I normally custom build my own cabinets and load them with high quality drivers. However, I needed something small, portable, and affordable for a small PA system for small Venues/DJ gigs. These subs have worked fine for that.
Desirability:
Cooler looking than the normal square subs from other manufactures. Other than that, its a black carpeted rectangle. Not too much to look at.
Sound:
Decent Lows. Great for DJ, Decent for Live Sound.
My mixer allows me to run a sub out and add only the channels that I want to go out to my subs. That helps take the slight muddy-ness out of these subs in a Live Sound Application
Ease of Use:
Plug it in.
Support:
they replaced my defective sub!
Overall:
Not the Highest output, not the cheapest, but great quality, backed up by the EV name. Good sound. Well Built. Good Value.
For the right application, This sub is hard to beat.
