I think all snakes all extended to work the same, they either work or they just take up space. This 8x4 snake is great. The groups I work with have a larger audio snake but many times a short snake, (or even a sub snake is needed), is all that is needed. Comes with a nice road ready case. It doesn't weigh much, very convenient on and off the stage.

"Lacking a couple of things"

I received the Statge Snake and was impressed with it and the case that comes with it. However there are a couple of things that should be considered. The ends with the individual plugs need to be more permanently and obviously labled. And there should be more information with the snake.
