I needed a small bass amp for spontaneous acoustic guitar jams my buddies have on the deck of our local watering hole. I was tired of lugging my Ampeg BA-108 around, so I started to look at smaller size bass amps. I tried Acoustic, Peavey, Fender and some others. The all sounded like crap at mid volume, not even at the volume I need to be to keep up with two acoustic guitars. Somewhere in my venture I stumbled upon the Eden and decided to take a chance and order one. Not only does it sound great, the size alone is two thirds the size of any of the amps in its class. It keep up with the other guys and has an unbelievable bottom end for its size, and blow all the others away.

Musical Background:

40 years of guitay and bass. Gig about twice a month.

Musical Style:

Classic and 80's rock.

Let me start by saying what this amp is not..-A gigable rig capable of keeping up with a band.-A super impressive tone monster Now what this amp does well is allow a bassist to practice at a decent volume while being able to maintain a level of tone that is acceptable. Like I said it’s not going to blow your mind in the tone department, but it is very impressive for its size and wattage. I live in a studio apartment and wanted something that wouldn’t upset the neighbors. It’s perfect in that setting. Compared to others in this price this price range the Eden is at the top. It doesnt sound thin or weak at all. It has great tonal integrity when pushed, but it does have its limits. If pushed too hard it will distort, but that’s well above practice levels anyways. If you’re looking for a simple easy to use practice amp as a seasoned musician or even a beginner this is a great option.
