Feature:
The seperate headphone out with independent volume knob (a hardware dial actually on the card) and seperate mixer out are all I've ever needed to plug in anywhere. There are also a number of inner software tweeks that you can make for lots of creative routing options. Very well done.
Quality:
This card has performed reliably for nearly 3 years of constant DJing. While I've sometimes had hardware controller or DJ software issues, this card has never given me ANY problems.
Value:
This card is expensive, but considering how reliable it's been and the fact that I haven't had to tote around a seperate external audio solution has proved invaluable.
Desirability:
People have commented on my laptop rig for years and all have been impressed with this audio card in particular. Sex appeal? Sure, why not.
Sound:
I use 128k AAC files for DJing. Not the best quality in theory by any means, but using the Echo Indigo DJ I've had stellar sound quality at every gig I play. Several other DJ's have mentioned that my setup sounds better than most they've heard in the past. Full, loud and clear.
Ease of Use:
Setup was simple and I've never had to touch it again. Slide the card in, take it out when you're done. Plug and play simplicity.
Support:
Never needed support online or otherwise. The easy setup instructions and included software were all I ever needed. The reliability of the product has meant that I've never needed customer service.
Overall:
One of the best investments I ever made for my laptop DJ rig. I've gone through 3 seperate controllers in the same amount time that I've used this card. A great, great product.
