I chose this product because it addressed my need for isolation headphones. The product stated isolation as its purpose and gave a db measurement. The company makes one model up from this one, but this "next to the top-of-the-line" model had a more attractive price for me.
Sound
I play electronic drums in a rock band with a guitarist who likes to turn it up to "11." Hearing the drums through the headphone jack on the drum brain was impossible UNTIL I got the EX-25 headphones. The isolation is good enough that I can actually turn DOWN the headphone volume so I can still hear the rest of the band. It also means I don't have to pound my sticks through the drums just to try to hear myself; it helps my technique.
Features
Well, the sound isolation IS the feature, but I also like the ability to replace individual parts, instead of having to replace the whole unit. (I haven't had to replace anything yet.)
Ease of Use
The "Right is red" or "Red is right", referring to the red earcup having red foam inside, makes it easy to get the L and R channels right on your head.
Quality
Seems well-made and durable.
Manufacturer Support
I have needed no support, which is good.
The Wow Factor
It's a good product, but I don't think consumers will put up a poster on it (unless there's a celebrity endorser, but I'd rather not have to pay extra for that.)

Very happy with the quality and performance. Loud drumming still OK to not have to have the music too loud. Sound is exceptional also. Comfortable.

These headphones isolate the outside world of sound with great precision. When you record you do not want any distraction and these Direct Sound phones do the job!

Great isolation. I play drums LOUD and these phones are great for studio work or rehearsal. They are comfortable, too. You will not be disappointed.
