Smooth all-over: Fast and furious. I am really a keyboard player; however, the difference is evident in my playing, I also have the DW9000 this is indeed a giant step above all others. The best thing is that it is super quiet during recording sessions; I have yet to see a "real-drummer" not impressed when I pull this "maschine" out of my inventory of gadgets_what-nots, and pleasant surprises. The Wow Factor
The product has presence, the ascetics speak for its self. When you see it the quality is evident to non-musicians. Seasoned drummers actually say Wow! when I show-up on the scene with this piece. Maybe because I am not a drummer and I made this type of investment, but I only buy what I feel is the best. [IJS]

This is an awesome pedal once it's adjusted to the player! The only problem I had was the snap it has during the attack. It's a lot different from the 9000! I bent my beater pole too
