Sound
Another excellent piece of hardware courtesy of DW. The 3500 has a lot of features normally found on more expensive hi-hat stands. The tension adjustment, pedal board, interchangeable hi-hat rods, rotating legs and liquid feel all make this a great choice for a drummer on a budget. I would highly recommend it. Kudos to DW for looking out for the working club drummer!!!

"Drummers - Take Heed...Buy This Stand!"

I do believe that i will be playing this stand for a long time to come and after replacing it with the 9000 series stand, it will still be a very serviceable backup.
Features
Features are decent; however, the pedal height makes it difficult to "bridge" between the 3000 hi-hat and 3000 double bass drum pedal. Tension adjustment is good. The two rods of different lengths is a nice touch.
Ease of Use
The hi-hat is easy to set up and has good action.
Quality
DW has finally come up with equipment for those of us in the trenches. It is good to be able to use a quality product. It is lightweight, yet sturdy.
Value
I am surprised that the hi-hat stand sells at this price point, but many drummers will be glad that it does.
Manufacturer Support
I have dealt with DW only to receive promotional materials. They are prompt, courteous and drummer-friendly.
The Wow Factor
The hi-hat stand is visually appealing - the chrome is very well done, the DW logo is inobstrusive. It feels good onstage and in the studio and performs very well.
