"DOD has done it again with the loudest, most kick-ass distortion pedal of all time: The FX86B, Death Metal Distortion!"
Feature:
Everything about this pedal is useful.
Quality:
The DOD Death Metal Distortion pedal is very well made. I have dropped it several times from about a 6 foot height and it has yet to break or malfunction in any way. I've kickd it multiple times, but it just keeps up with every bit of abuse you dish out (whether it be accidentally or on purpose).
Value:
It was way worth the price
Desirability:
It's like Sports Illustrated Swimsuit in a pedal. If you don't want it, you're insane.
Sound:
The sound of this pedal is incredible. It offers such a wide range of distortion--anywhere from Lynyrd Skynyrd to ACDC to Black Sabbath to Emperor. The only thing that could possibly make this pedal better would be the addition of a distortion control knob.
Support:
N/A.
Overall:
I expect this pedal to last me for a long time. If ever I have to replace it, I will replace it with another of its kind, or a Boss DS1 distortion or Ibanez Tubescreamer.

this thing is awesomely presented with blood drops all over it and says two thing..brutal sound
Sound:
This thing sounds mean, gut tearing lows or ear blowing highs this pedal can handle it, put it next to a chorus pedal and youll turn people over in there graves!!
Overall:
i will never get rid of this pedal its just to awesome..if it breaks i will buy a new one and will probably use these pedals for years to come

Good construction, watch out when you taking the battery out, i accidently pulled the positive wire out of the unit and had to solder it back on, careful!

Well worth what you pay.
Sound:
This pedal is quite versatile. Don't let the name of it fool you, I can get anything from an overdriven amp to thrash metal. I love the way you can make it belch with low end response. Great for solos and for speed metal. Plus, it's also very affordable.

"Great"
This is an excellent pedal, and the price makes it even better. I've got one on the bass and the lead, and we couldn't be happier. This is by far the best distortion made by DOD. It provides the crunch that we need, and it is REALLY durable!

it has a verry good crunch to it really heavie distortion but thats all you get is distortion out of it its heavie all the time but i like it i own one my self i recomend that you buy it

I CRANK THE MIDS AND LOWS WHILE BACKING OFF ON THE HIGHS AND GET CLARITY (AS MUCH AS YOU CAN GET WITH DISTORTION PASSED REALISTIC LEVELS) WITH BRIDGE POSITION HUMBUCKERS. (DIMARZIO DP100 AND SEYMOUR DUNCAN SH-4) GREAT FOR METAL/GRUNGE TONES.

The features are pretty much standard. Low, Mid, High, volume.
Quality:
Good quality. Unfortunately, the resistance eats up too much power going to the amp, so when I turn off the pedal, the clean sound on my amp is very weak sounding. Otherwise, it's made to last.
Value:
Worth the price in terms of other 80-100 dollar pedals. The only real problem is the power going into the amp when the pedal is turned off.
Desirability:
I guess it's cool

The sound is crisp and clear, a lot more profound then the standard distortion on my amp.
