Feature:
Get the power adapter. A $20 adapter will pay for itself when you consider how much it will cost you to constantly buy 9V batteries. This pedal will suck battery juice like nobody's business.
Quality:
The thing is constructed well. If an astronaut played guitar on the moon, this pedal would survive the conditions. When I bought this product, I was expecting something more light-weight and flimsy. It'll stay in place no matter how hard it's kicked.
Value:
I bought this for about 30 bux. Enough said.
Desirability:
Have it. Sex appeal? Well I don't want to sleep with it at all. Sound appeal? I could listen to it for quite some time without tiring of the sound.
Sound:
Wow. I've come across about 3 different sounds with this pedal, usually switching my pickups and my amp settings. When I kick my amp to the overdrive setting, and choose one of the middle pickups on my guitar, you can get a blusey-crunch sound, which seems to work well with solos. Kicking my amp to clean, and selecting my bridge pickups produces a huge distortion good for rhythm. The bass and volume controls on the pedal can really give you quite a bit of feedback, which is always a good thing (unless you blow a speaker, then it sux). This is probably one of my favorite pedals, and I find myself kicking it more than is necessary.
Support:
No attempts for support. Never needed.
Overall:
Overall, this thing is freakin' sweet.
