Feature:
It has 24 frets, 1 volume control, a 3-way pickup switch and it has 2 active EMG 707s. The guitar has an Alder top/body, a maple neck, an ebony fingerboard, Grover tuners, black hardware, and a licensed Floyd Rose bridge (I take lessons from Rusty and he said the guitar had the licensed bridge because the normal Floyd Rose doesn't have low profile fine tuners and so is harder to play).
The only thing I don't like is the lack of a battery compartment but other than that it is truly amazing.
Quality:
As far as 7-strings go, it's a masterpiece. I am pretty sure it's set up to be a bad mofo live and it's a very simple setup (twin humbuckers, single volume and three-way pickup selector). This is a professional's instrument. Built for shredders by a shredder!
Desirability:
Just look at the damn design dude. I don't even have to say anything, the guitar's sexiness speaks for itself.
Sound:
I play mostly Metal/Shred and this guitar sounds absolutely perfect for my styles. I play through a Fender tube amp with a few effects. My signal chain is: RC7->Morley Goerge Lynch Dragon 2 Wah-> Korg Pitchblack Chromatic tuner-> Boss CE-5 Chorus Ensemble-> Ibanez TK999HT Tube King-> Fender M-80 Preamp-> amp. The guitar does great distorted tones and great clean sounds too. I love it.
Ease of Use:
1. Plug in.
2. Turn on amp.
3. Shred till' your ears bleed.
Easy.
Overall:
Hands down, this guitar is the best guitar I have ever played. I love it to death, everything on this guitar is just incredible to say the least. If you have the money and are considering buying one, don't hesitate, you won't be disappointed at all.
