Sound:
i just bought it today and it sounds great. I already have a $7000 gibson but needed one to carry in my truck for emergency playing. I bought a second mandolin for $800 but sent it back because it didn't have sound. I then tried this cheap mandolin and it was just great. I love it and it was less expensive by $700.
