zZounds has verified that this customer bought this product from us.
Feature:
I have the FS300 footswitch but it needs a switch to foot switch to select up and down settings. As is, you must turn the wheel, which is okay for most but going from one song to another in rapid fire, the hands off would be nice.

Quality:
MOunts great on stand and made well.

Value:
Yes

Desirability:
I like the stealth look of it.

Sound:
I've been in bands for 40 years and this is the best priced and best little unit I know that will enhance any individual or group's sound. The first time we used it,everyone just started looking around and grinned. We hit vocal notes that were there but we could never reach. Now...this is our band secret. I say buy it. NO way to go wrong!

Ease of Use:
NO problem making changes. However, everything is trial and error.

Support:
Yes. Never had to contact them

Overall:
I'm satisfied

This unit has added a whole new dimension to my live Gigs. When playing any type of folk or Celtic music it is great to have those harmonies for the Chorus parts.

I highly recommend this unit for the Soloist or even if your a lead singer in a duo or trio. It just enhances the whole sound (and it doesn't sound electronic.) I use it in both Live settings and recording.

FYI: make sure you get the footswitch to be able to control it while performing live.

I have used it for about a year in a rock band. Mounts right on mic stand with included bracket. Fantastic, especially if you do a lot of syncopated harmonies because it follows your voice wherever you go. No need to practice for hours with the other guys just to get so so harmonies that won't be tight during the show. Also has 3 very good quality reverbs so if you a small act or soloist you may not have to buy additional processors. Makes good singers better, bad ones worse. Only criticism is that, while there is a balanced input (XLR), there is only an unbalanced output (1/4"). I use a DI box to solve the problem. Also for live performances the optional footswitch is an absolute must.

Howdy Folks,
I have owned both of Digitechs Vocalists for years. The Performer is the best and easiest to use Vocal Harmonizer you can get.I have used it for five years now and it still looks and sounds great. If you are a solo act or a back-up singer and want to add rich, smooth,"QUIET" Harmony to your music,This is It.This machine does not add any noise for your amp to magnify. You will be AMAZED at the Harmony of your own voice and so will everyone else. The Sound is awesome. If you play an instrument be sure and get the foot switch so you can punch in and out at will.I love Mine and I paid nearly $400.for it.GOD Bless !

I've just starting developing a home studio. For the price, my needs, and the features of this product, it is very good.

I particularly like the natural sound of the harmonies produced.

I would encourage anyone considering purchasing this product to go ahead and do so. It has made my recording easier.

This is a fine addition to the existing vocalists. It can subtly give you the added voice layering for better quality sound.

Perhaps I'm a bit jaded after working in radio for a number of years with great equipment like the Eventide Harmonizer. Unfortunately, this item has fallen very short of my expectations. The quality of the harmonies is very mechanical and very unsatisfactory to my ears. I have been using it for digital recording and have been sorely disappointed. It is easy to use, no question... but it is terribly overpriced. Also, I bought an all-in-one digital workstation so that I wouldn't have to have a lot of add-ons... well, guess what... I can't use my studio condensor mics with this unit unless I buy an additional phantom power supply. I'm glad others have had a good experience here, but I get a knot in my stomache everytime I think about the money I wasted on this.
