Sound:
100% compulsion buy for me. I came online to buy a couple of patch cables. It was 100% worth it. Ultimately, because of silly features like "learn-a-lick" and its lack of balanced outputs, it comes off as a toy, but a damn good one. The number of features packed in this baby is incredible. Unlike the behringer dsp1024 processor I have, this one no noticable delay in sound. There is a little delay in programming, especially in selecting amp speakers, but that is tolerable. It also functions as a pre-amp/di-box, so again, balanced outputs would be nice, but I guess that would add to the price. The price is damn cheap for what you get. At first I didn't think it sounded terrific, but as I've learned to tune the different amp sims to my setup I think it sounds good. The amp sims are nice. You can get any kind of setup you want. Compressor, delay, everything is good. I had to take the pedal apart and lube it. They should lube it at the factory. Requires opening case to reassemble. My fat toes also often hit too many switches and activate the cheesy "learn-a-lick" mode. I make music with whatever I have on hand, so I think its great. I can get really wierd hollow tones with the wahwah and "yaya" pedal effects, so that is a primary reason for owning it. Bottom analysis: unbeleivable toy. Also, if you don't like excercise, be forwarned....you're going to be bending over a lot hahaha.
