Feature:
the velvet bag is great. it actualy fits. the power cord is hard to get out sometimes but is a great trade off as apposed to 300 bateries a week. adn the pick is a pick.

Quality:
the bestive seen. i could throw it down the stairs and it would still work.

Value:
yes yes yes

Desirability:
i love the color especialy the bag. it sticks out alot and its not just a pretty face. it can work too.

Sound:
insanly good. even though hendrix originaly used a dunlop pedal, digitech has cracked the code and surpased almost all pedals on the market. the sound is great. ive never heard such a similar tone with another pedal. paired with destortiona and a deley pedal, youll never have to search for more of a hendrix tone.

Ease of Use:
its hard to get the heel toe switches to change sometimes but when you get the flexible output mode to your right tone is perfect. i couldnt ask for more.

Overall:
i will use this pedal until i die. the best ive ever had. if yoru looking for any kind of hendrix tone or any kind of wah pedal, this is the kind. once agian digitech has pulled through on a great product. i would pay upwards of 7 or 8 hundred dollars of this product but at 200 you cant beat it.

Feature:
The pedal comes with a power chord no other wah pedal will give you, cool crown royal looking gig bag,and Jimi Hendrix guitar pick.

Quality:
It only takes one eye and half good sense to see that it is.

Value:
Yes.

Desirability:
I tried 2 other wah pedals that did not even come close, the crybaby classic, crybaby 535q by Dunlop. If you were to try to build this piece by piece it would cost $3083.00 plus tax. And these are just for pedals that are just similar and not the original brands and the Marshall 100 watt super Lead is a reissue.

Sound:
I love this pedal it sounds awesome! Voodoo Child sounds just like the record, and especially Star Spangled Banner is the funnest to use. The thing I like the most is the Univibe and Arbiter Fuzz Face that produce killer tones on dive bombs and electrifiying sustain on solos. I was wondering how Jimi did waving feedback on guitar, at first I thought it was feedback and now I know it's the uni vibe.

Ease of Use:
I'ts pretty easy just need to calibrate the toe up function.

Support:
No.

Overall:
This will be my live guitar solo secret weapon.

Feature:
It has 7 different Hendrix song tones, but with the pedal you get a total of around 16 different sounds. Includes some excellent wah, a great flanger and an echo that is just great for SRV-style blues I love to play. It has a solid steel frame, 2 out lines (amp and mixer), 2 inputs (guitar and footswitch), several distortion tones and some great clean tones too. I would have liked to have seen some more clean tones, but to say that it is lacking is the wrong thing to say...The only bad thing, is that it uses a power cord and not batteries, which i thought a bit poor...I think that Digitech should hav included an option for battery use...

Quality:
Excellent quality!! The purple paint and solid frame are holding up perfectly. On mine, the pedal got slightly stiff and started sqweaking slightly, but i just got some oil and squirted that into the small moving bits and problem solved. This pedal will definately hold up to gigging which I will probably be doing soon.

Value:
I got mine for $500 (Australian) and I probably wouldnt pay much more, and instead buy a cheaper multi-effects thing that would probably do everything just as good. If you have the money, i would definately reccommend it!! If not, look at other options too, then make your own decision. It really comes down to what you need and how much stuff you want.

Desirability:
It looks, feels, SOUNDS amazing. The controls are oh-so simple to use and the purple paint job is very cool!! Did I mention that it came with its very own carry pouch? A purple velvet bag!! thats rite...purple.....velvet.......=MAX SEX APPEAL!!

Sound:
This pedal sounds AMAZING!! Apparently, it uses too micro-chips to make it sound even closer to the original Hendrix sounds. The good thing is that the sounds are all very different, especially the distorted tones, which was good because i was thinking of getting a multi-effects box with some 50 or so amp models and so-on, but they all sounded too similar and it wasnt worth the money. THIS pedal has the sounds to make the audience think your worth a million bucks!! It doesnt matter which guitar or amp you use (as mine are very cheap, but very good), this pedal will make you sound spectacular!! To sum it up, it is sinply amazing!! Makes ANYTHING GOOD!! Also with lots of tone-control and sound altering knobs.

Ease of Use:
Mine did not come with a manual, but only because the man at the shop forgot to add it when he gathered up all the items. It took me and my dad half of christmas morning to work out how to "turn it on". After that, it is very simple: 4 control knobs with different "skirt" knobs to save space which is a great idea. It looks SOOOO much easier to use than the multi-effects pedal which had buttons galore and would have probably had and instruction manual as thick as a dictionary. I have had no troubles otherwise, and it was probably my stupidity that made it hard in the frist place.

Support:
I emailed the company regarding the problems I had without the manual and they replied the next day. It WAS christmas so i thought that was a very good effort!!

Overall:
It will last forever, is great to use, is SO MUCH FUN!!, and most of it all it is suprisingly versatile!! From laid back Hendrix tones, to screaming blues, all the way to cranking the gain, treble and bass to full, while slashing out the mids and putting it on setting 3 or 6 for some surpisingly heavy/hard rock tones!! Another cool thing to try out is turning on the gain on your amp to make some awsum distorted sounds that will have the neighbours running for their lives!! ITS JUST....well..GREAT!!!

Feature:
What it comes with is fine. I wish it had an on / off switch and would work off a 9 volt battery as well as the power pack.

Quality:
This is where I have reservations. I've had my pedal for two years. It worked fine under limited use for about two months. Then it say on a shelf in my living room for about a year. When I tried to use it again, the effects were inop. Wasn't subjected to any unusual environmental conditions: just quit working. Maybe it's just the one I had, but I thought I should mention it.

Value:
Again, this is all based on my experience (no pun) with a Hendrix pedal that died after very limited use. I feel like I spent a couple hundred bucks for a Crown Royal bag and a purple pick. If the unit works, it's worth the money. I wish you all the luck I didn't have with it.

Desirability:
Yes, I wanted it. If it works, it's a very desirable pedal. If it works. That's the thing.

Sound:
Generally, I thought it does a pretty good job of mimicking many of Jimi's tones. For a small unit that will replace many other pieces of equipment and simplify imitating Jimi for most practical intents and purposes, not bad at all.

Ease of Use:
It takes a little experimentation, but DTC gives fairly good info on how to set the pedal. The optional footswitch makes hoping from one Model setting to another easier.

Support:
I emailed support and let them know the problem, and that the pedal was out of warranty. They suggested a new power pack. I bought the same model number pack, but the pedal still doesn't work. For what it will cost me to ship the pedal and have it repaired, I might just as well buy a new one. Really have to think about it. Trying to research other users on the Net to see if they've had similar problems. If so, I probably won't buy another Hendrix Pedal

Overall:
Based on my own experience with the one pedal I bought, I am not pleased: it was a waste of a couple hundred dollars for something that stopped working for no apparent reason. I'm really bummed about it because I really love Hendrix's music and really wanted to emulate his sound. I thought the pedal would do that for me, and for a short time it was pretty good. But it died just like Jimi did: long before his time was due.

Feature:
Seems to have most everything you could want in a Jimi Pedal... Just wish mine would turn on....

Quality:
This thing cost a lot of money and I have never heard the device work. Audio can go through to the mixer or an amp, but the FX dont come through and the light only flashes red for one second and then turns off without working or showing any other colors. It is really depressing since DT usually puts out decent products.

Value:
Dont buy this UNLESS you have tried it out in the store and purchase an extra warranty!

Desirability:
It comes in a really cool velvet bag and is incredibly rugged. I feel like I could hammer nails with this device given its hardcore case. The color is a gorgeous purple with great yellow accents.

Sound:
I am not sure how this device sounds, unfortunately. It doesnt work. I have been told by others that this pedal sounds amazing.

Ease of Use:
Mine will not turn on. Power supply and pedal are brand new.

Support:
What support?!

Overall:
Not too pleased with this purchase and urge any interested buyers to think carefully.

Feature:
I got an offer, so I also have the extension pedal, to switch between sounds, for free. This is most helpful, since the switching on the pedal itself may be a bit difficult. I had to get a third one from the store te have a unit with good working heel and toe switchs. Test the unit you take home to be sure! The pedal feels sturdy, roadworthy. Nice is the AC adaptor wich comes wthin the box, along with plectrum and very nice but impractical gig-bagg.

Quality:
It's great, all but the heel and toe switches, they are really too bad for such money.

Value:
for lack of quality on heel and toe it is too expensive, for the amount of accessories it's a good deal.

Desirability:
This is for me a totally unpractical pedal since I play bass with no longing for sonding like Bassy Hendrix. BUT to feel like you are Jimi himself, helped with this or some other in your sigarette this is what you want to have. The feel of the total packaage is brillliant, super.

Sound:
I use it with an EKO Polyphemus wich sounds great, and I also use it with a very old Vox AC 50, wich sounds lesser. The pedal makes the most of the sound you will hear, not the amp. Switching between sounds from different banks (songs) is not good enough to use in a song, there's to much delay beore the new sound starts.

Ease of Use:
Almost any setting will give a good sound. Tou can vary very nicely all knobs to get your own favourite sound. There sure is a learning curve in switching between intro and solo tones. Be sure when pressing the tow button to concentrate the pressure UNDER the top of the pedal, by 3 cm, or about an inch backward.

Overall:
If you are willing to pull the strings like Jimi did, you will hear yourself playing like the man himslef. This is what you can achieve with this particular pedal. As a general overdrive/fuzz box or wah it is NOT suitable.

This thing is verry good i was shocked when i first used it cause i expected it to be ok but when i started playing it was literaly just like hendrix. All of the songs sound just like hendrix's. And the star spangled banner one was amazing. The only thing wrong with it is that i hooked up my friends les paul into it and it didnt sound too good i mean it was ok but if you have a strat or at least a different guitar then a les paul then it will seriously sound exactly like hendrix.
