Feature:
Really good! Lots of ins and outs, mic pres, digital i/o, Pro Tools, Asio drivers, what else... Many people agree that there's been no big improvement since 002, and I think so too, since the i/o's are the same. But the fact is that as I didn't own a 002, and I was looking foward to move to pro tools, this 003 thing with improved converters and at the same price was all that I was asking for, and since I own nothing but a home studio, there is nothing else I need. I can do my recording in an HD system, a SSL console and Neumann mic in a World-Class studio and come back home to edit and make some overdubs on my own. It really works for me.

Quality:
So good! I was wondering what I was going to get when opening the box. The Digi 003 happends to be a really well made, solid, metal, peace of gear. The pots are not the best, though. As for Pro Tools... two words: Rock Solid! (Even in my P4 2.0 PS)

Value:
Yeah man! Pro Tools, lots of work, compatibility with each and every studio in the planet, rock solid playback/record.

Desirability:
Yes. I do.

Sound:
Sound is really good. I could notice the sound quality improvement compared to my last interfase (MOTU 896HD, that sounded really good for the price). I also worked on a 002 a couple of times, and I cannot remember the sound was this good. But anyway, that was with other monitors and another room too, so... The pres acomplish there mission and far more. This system is destined for small project studios and perhaps some overdubbing, so they really work fine. If you are looking for some state-of-the-art pres, you should be thinking in spending some more money.

Ease of Use:
Pro Tools makes it all easier once you had taken the time to learn the basic shortcuts. After that is all music you think about. And I want to make clear I am not in a MAC, not even a PC, but a PS (Peace-of-Sh·%&), the hardest way to do things. Ant still was really easy to install and work with it.

Support:
Ok, this I can't really tell. All I can say is that registering and getting authorization codes for Digidesign soft was really quick. But, as for other manufacturers softs (IK, Celemony, and so on) is a pain in the butt. Copy this, paste that, conect here, check e-mail, go to hell! I cannot say anything about tech support. I live in South America, and I don't think Digidesign knows where that is.

Overall:
I spect to use this thing for a while. Eve if a I get an HD system, I would keep this for homework and field recording.
