Sound:
These drums are an amazing value, with features normally found in snare drums costing 3 times as much! Diecast hoops etc. The wood is beutifull and thick! its a heavy drum in maple. The drum has a fantastic snap to it and a nice crack that will certainly turn heads! Tuned a bit lower and its nice a meaty and throaty, a great all around snare and definatly good enough to use as your main snare drum live. I put a black x batter on it and a new set of pure sound blaster wires, sounds fantastic!
Feature:
The throw off is nice and solid, the diecast hoops make tuning simple and definatly add to the volume! Its a loud drum

It a snare drum, play it!
Quality:
The quality is great however I should have went with a different color , the black is nice but since the maple wood grain is so gorgeous I wished I had went with natural, but at anyrate its well built solid maple snare for under $150?? amazing value
Value:
Its an amazing value, it would cast $100 alone just to add diecast hoops to any drum! and this drum has them and is alos heavy beutifull maple! Its a steal!

If your looking for a fantastic main snare in 7x13 inch size which is a great size snare, then this is the one you want! You will love this drum!
Overall:
I expect to be happy a long time its well made. My only reason for the 9 score instead of the 10 is because I cant warm up to the black all that much but thats me other than that its a 10 all the way!
* sidenote about zzounds! I love this company! why? because first of all they ship amazingly fast, I have my stuff the next day sometimes!! great shipping...secondy this is the only place I know of that has "4 month payment" without having to use a credit card and rack up interest fee's etc ! I have used it a few times now for large orders and it has helped me get everything I want and dream off right now! I dont have to wait and I dont deplete my bvank account doing it! its an awesome feature and a tremendous help to me! So I want to thank zzounds for making this possible, I hate waiting for things and this is the best option out there and zzounds has a customer for life with me! Thanks guy's ! zzounds Rock's ! I have used the other larger sites before and I dont care how flashy they are or whatever, they dont compare to the customer friendliness of zzounds simple as that!

Sound:
I got this snare from a drummer friend of mine and I love it. I'd heard him play it for about a year and it amazed me everytime. It has a very nice crack to it and it's very very loud.
Feature:
The trow off is smooth and easy to use. And the die cast hoops make it even better.
Ease of Use:
I tuned this bad boy up in about 5 minutes. Very easy to tune and start playing.
Quality:
Very solid snare drum for the price. It's one of my favorites that I've played so far. Build very sturdy. This snare can take a beating.
