Sound: I am a first time Ddrum buyer, at first I was nervous, I just sold my 6 pcs. Pearl export radical kit, which I had for nearly 5 years, the kit sounded great with the right heads. unfortunately, the wrap started bubbling off ALL the drums, even the 16"x 16" floor tom I custom ordered to match later. I went at looked at a used Ddrum dominion tequila sparkle limited edition pocket kit, this kit was gorgeous! I bought the shell pack for 399.00. After I had gotten home, I put new heads on all the drums, and man -O-man how awesome!! way better than the pearl kit!! the quality of the maple shells and the finish blew me away, but the sound is the seller! now I went from a 16" x 22" bass drum, to this 20" x 20" with hesitation, until i hit it for the first time! WOW!! what a deep rich punch!! I LOVE THIS KIT and will be keeping these for awhile! Feature: The pocket kit was only the shell pack, but it did come with the arm for the rack tom. Ease of Use: This kit is very user friendly! being a 5 piece with double floor toms gives this kit a great amount of versatility! I immediately skinned all my Toms with Evans hydraulic heads, and the Bass drum got an Evans E-mad, and the snare was skinned with an Evans HD dry batter! these drums sound amazing!! Quality: I can't sell these drums enough! the quality is unreal, compared to Pearl, Tama, Ludwig, PDP, there is NO contest, these drums are hand made, the finish is is unlike anything I have ever seen on any drum, and I have been playing drums for nearly 35 years! I did notice the lugs vary in size, but didn't have any strip out, also the leg on the floor toms could be a little beefier, but still fine! Value: For the money, both new or used, these drums I believe are the best value out there! The Wow Factor: Oh man! the tequila sparkle finish is the sexiest thing I have seen in a long time!! Overall: I'm hoping they will last me a life time!
