This is the 2nd DDrum kick trigger I've had in several months, the first was the model w/ two sensors and the switch so that if one went out you could easily move to the other. That was junk and the switched failed on the 2nd gig. I now own the chrome elite and the manufacturing is very 'clunky' and various XLR cables do not snap in well to the trigger. The tightest you can clamp it down is still not enough for a Pearl Masters hoop, it wiggles around. You'd think that a Pearl Masters hoop would be fairly standard, apparently not. I wouldn't recommend DDrum kick triggers, stick w/ Roland.
