"Underwhelming Product"

Quality
This case isn't all it's cracked up to be. I have a 50-pound keyboard (Kurzweil PC88MX) that's been mildly damaged twice from the bumps it received through normal gigging inside the case. It's very heavy, but doesn't protect that well--the center handle once pulled off halfway when the case/keyboard was picked up, and just by pulling one of the end handles to roll the keyboard/case along, the metal bent and curved. I wouldn't trust this on a plane, ATA-certification or not.
Manufacturer Support
I needed to get the case repaired (see above), and SKB's customer service was friendly and helpful, hassle-free.
The Wow Factor
I thought it was going to be the perfect case, because I wanted something highly protective and SKB's guitar cases are wonderful.

"Not Tour Quality"

The lid is flimsy which might not be an issue because of it's ridges may give it structural strength just the same...it just doesn't give a very good impression. Secondly they use plastic corners inside with velcro to secure the keyboad. The velcro pad is glued onto the smooth plastic corner and becomes unattached from the plastic corner very quickly. So when you open the case the keyboard has now slid in whatever direction and find the gluey sticky velcro still stuck to where you placed it but the dislodged plastic corner is..well..wherever it landed. God help my Roland RD-600. SKB says with very little concern, manufacturers defect. And BTW...I was only one of VERY FEW COMPLAINTS!!! Sent me 4 new corners anyway which did the same thing. Just received my next 4 corners but haven't used them yet but they look completely redesigned. We will see about that...! If the new corners work, I will try to sell the case and buy a real road worthy case...

SKB's guitar cases are much stronger. Don't buy the keyboard case unless weight is your primary concern.
Quality
I have a Kurzweil PC-88MX, and the case simply can't handle the weight of the keyboard. It bends, the handles pull off, it's not pretty. And they expect this thing to survive a flight? I barely trust it on the road. If you don't abuse your cases much (i.e. don't travel) you probably won't have an issue, but even for semi-regular gigging it doesn't hold up.
Value
I'm looking into getting a different case because it's not sturdy enough, but like I said, SKB stands behind its product. For the price, it may be better to go with Calzone Cases, which is what I'm looking into--they'll build a custom case for about the same as this one, but if weight is an issue the SKB case wins (the case I'm looking into is 10-20 lbs heavier).
Manufacturer Support
Customer service is fantastic--they fixed up my case for free (I just had to pay shipping there) and called to make sure it got back to me in good shape.

"It's what you need."

Overall: 5 out of 5 stars

I am pleased. I expect to have the case along time.
Features
Just plain tough. The wheels WILL go over any surface you can. It's protected my keyboard for about 6 years.
Quality
Every other case is compared to SKB. Have you ever watched your keyboard slide down an stairway? Imagine the tears.. Or the smile you get when you remember you paid a few extra bucks and got SKB
Manufacturer Support
I broke a latch. I was broke. I called. The guy at support said my case had a life time warranty. Sent me the latch in good time. Fixed the latch. Played the gig. Efficient and courteous.

SKB 88-Key Keyboard Case Customer Review

Overall: 4 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
This review has been selected by our experts as particularly helpful.
Features
I like the option of the puzzle/foam pieces. When used properly it makes for a very effective fit and protection. I am not a big fan of the latches however. I personally haven't had a problem yet, they just seem a little weak.
Quality
If you use the puzzle/foam pieces correctly you get a very durable, protective case. People that have had problems that I know of didn't have the interior properly configured. These cases have stood up to military deployments to Afghanistan and Iraq just fine.

"DOES NOT FIT ALL THE KEYBOARDS THAT IT CLAIMS!"

If you need a good case I would recommend a Gator Tour Style case.
Quality
I own a yamaha P90 and I tried fitting it in the case at a store. SKB says that that the yamaha P90 is supposed to fit. Well it definetly didn't fit. It did fit in the case(length-wise, and width-wise), until I tried closing the case. The case was not deep enough for the keyboard.
Value
At double the price than most cases, this is a horrible value.
Manufacturer Support
I haven't dealt with their support, obviously since I do not own any of their equipment. However, I have heard from many people that they have lousy customer support.
