Taken my guitar many places in this case...and it protects it well. Personally, I'm suprised that it has survived all the abuse I've put it though. Would buy again if the need arose, but it doesn't look like that will happen any time soon! Plan on buying one for my strat!

I am friends with the son of the owner of SKB so needless to say i got this case for free :) However, having this case, I would say that I would definitely buy it I did not have the hook up.
