Can't ask for more...really.
Sound
I hooked this thing up to my new VOX AC15 CI, and it was amazing. I had heard Clapton's live version of Cocaine the day before (my band plays it live), on the radio...so I started playing the lead break when I hooked this Crybaby up ...unbelievable! I was EC incarnate. ;-) Very impressive! Highly recommend it!
Features
I gave it an 8...there are no features...but you don't need any.
Ease of Use
Never played a Wah Wah pedal before in my life (sad to say), and I was all over this like I had been doing it for years.
Quality
The old "built like a tank" cliche fits here.
Value
Great price, great pedal. Buy this...you don't need a bunch of bells and whistles....
Manufacturer Support
Gave an 8 again...haven't had to use it.
The Wow Factor
If lost or stolen, I'd get another one. It's the legend....

Ease of Use
easiest pedal i own. just klick the pedal on and off, move back and forth for desired wah, rapidly for cool effects, simple as that
Quality
i have stomped, kicked, thrown, beaten, whacked, and tormented this in so many different ways, its virtuallly indestructible. it will probably outlast my guitar

Overall: 5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
Verified Customer zZounds has verified that this reviewer made a purchase from us.
I am, I have been for years, and I will be forever happy with the Jim Dunlop CryBaby!
Sound
I didn't buy it from zZounds, but I've had one since about 1980! And it KICKS ASS! NOTHING else can stand up to it! I see some guys saying it's ok, doesn't have a wide enough sweep etc. They're full of it! I've been playing professionally for 30+ years and NO OTHER WAH PEDAL EVEN COMES CLOSE! You won't regret buying one, unless you're a lame-non-experienced player that doesn't know anything! Just sayin'....... and you know who you are!
Features
No accessories! Go to Radio Shack and buy an adapter if you need one, and the hum that goes with it, otherwise get a Duracell and rock out bro!
Ease of Use
How can it not be easy to use?
Quality
DUDE! Why ask why? It's the original! The one that started it all!
Value
You won't get a better quality wah unit for the money, or for ANY money!
Manufacturer Support
Gonna give a 6 on support because I've never needed support! This thing just keeps on keepin' on!
The Wow Factor
Gotta have it if you want the wah effect!

"Wah-Wah Anyone?"

Overall: 5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
Probably will last until the second coming of Jesus
Sound
Classic vintage sounds, and of course wah. What else?!
Features
It's a wah pedal, but I won't buy it for anything else but it's one feature, so it makes perfect sense, like Confucious. No knobs to fiddle with, nuttin'.
Ease of Use
Incredibely easy, stomp it to turn it on and classic wah is yours. Probably the easiest pedal I have fiddled with.
Quality
Incredibely metal, I mean, MADE of metal, weighs a ton and is built like a tank.
Value
Worht it for retro wah tones. Worth it.
Manufacturer Support
You won't need it, this'll probably last longer than YOU!!
The Wow Factor
All black, what's more metal than that?!? But I don't care about looks when it comes to a wah pedal, I care about it's sound, and I want it purely for its wah.

i wouldnt ever want any other wah. if this somehow broke i would try to fix it my self and if that didnt work i would definitely just buy another identical one... dont see it breaking though
Sound
beautiful. never played with a better wah. has amazing sound. its the god damned original. how could it be any better?
Features
simple and easy. no extra crap. just pure amazing music. would be great if it had an ac adaptor included but just get yourself a 9 volt and its fine.
Ease of Use
simple. kick it on and tap it off. or anywhere in between.
Quality
ive met cinder blocks that this thing could prolly crush without more than a dent to the casing. its like a brick. i would never do it but impretty sure i could run my car over this thing and still have it play just fine
Value
little pricy but better than a line 6 or one of the expensive boss models. and nothing like it for the price.
Manufacturer Support

The Wow Factor
looks beautiful on my pedal board. fits in there perfectly with my flanger and ds-1

I will be satisfied with this pedal for a very very long time I beleive. Next I would probably get a Vox or something of that nature.
Sound
Sounds great, easily imitates different genres of classic rock and funk. I use it with a Line 6 Spider II (I know, embarrasing) but it gets surprisingly good tone.
Features
This is one thing I like about this pedal, no features to go wrong. Just a piece of medal that you move back and forth to change your sound. I love how it is all metal construction.
Ease of Use
Like I said, it is incredibly easy to play. Within 5 minutes of getting it out of the box, I was jamming with it.
Quality
All metal construction, not much to go wrong. I have read however the pot wears out after a while, haven't had this happen yet though. I would tour with it without a backup no doubt, bombproof.
Value
Excellent value

The truth is it doesnt matter whether you wanna jam with blues or whether your into heavy metal cause either way you can make use of it. Amazing really concidering its very affordable. I have always wanted to add a Wah pedal to my rig, but I'm so pretentious about my tone...well after adding the GCB95 to my Marshall Class20 with a PRS Standard 22 and an Electro Harmonix Memory toy My tone was a bit sweeter and spicy since I use the Memory toy for that 50's slap back echo I can get some really unique squeeks squake and old school wah! Now I can't consider playing without it!! The only bummer was the cool "CRY BABY" sticker they included was defective and wouldn't stick to my amp :(

"dunlop GCB-95 original crybaby"

Overall: 5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
i'll never have to look for another wah pedal again now i've found the crybaby line. i'm 100% happy with this model but i can't say wheather or not i'll try differant crybabys out although no fault is due to the GCB-95
Sound
i would'nt change a thing if i want to do my own thing the tones right if i want to sound like slash, zakk wylde or jimmy page the tones there. and unlike a chorus, flange pedal you can never get bored of it.
Features
although a few tone controls would have been nice. the beauty of it is that you just plug it in and the crybabys imfamous tone is there.
Quality
the crybaby has a very consistant finish on it from the paint to the rubber grip mat but to be truthful what could they really mess up. the construction is brilliant and i would trust it without a back up but this is if i serviced it before hand. the pots will last me around 2 months as i use it a lot with my band.
Value
this is 2nd hand and in mint condition the value was brilliant on my budget
Manufacturer Support
non expreince it is serviced through my local guitar shop
The Wow Factor
its is a 100% workhorse it does the job and prehaps it may not be the most attractive wah pedal on the market but for the guitar players out there its image is as important as a marshall stack or les paul. and in my opinion it is as smart as any of them it looks cool without trying, it oozes sopistacation

"A high quality pedal"

Overall: 5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
It's great. Buy one if you don't want to shell out a couple hundred on a Slash or Jimi Hendrix wah.
Sound
It has a great sound. Though I haven't tried any other wah pedals, this one is good enough for me.
Features
It doesn't have anything special, but the quality of the wah is great.
Ease of Use
It's simple and easy to use.
Quality
It's pretty high quality. I think it'll last me a long time.
Value
I got this because it was cheaper, but still under a main brand name, so I could also get a new amp. The quality definetly ended up outweighing the price.
Manufacturer Support
I haven't had any problems, but the Dunlop website seems helpful.
The Wow Factor
It's not that sexy, but I wouldn't look for that in a pedal.

its a great wah pedal for people who like jimi and play lots of rock and metal.
Sound
This wah pedal sounds awesome, but i would perfer more options. although i only wanted a wah(just the effect)it would be better if you could adjust the sweep, or if it had a boost.
Features
I Do really like this wah, its fun to jam and sounds like jimi alot. it also works better with lots of treble in your amp.
Ease of Use
its basically your regular wah.
Quality
its good quality...it fell off my table once and it was fine. though when i bought it it made this annoying squeky noise that drives me insane, so.

Once you get one of these you dont need ANYTHING else.
Sound
Its more intense when you use a distortion box or fuzz effect. It also sounds a lot better. If you are going to buy this wah you might want to look into a boss distortion pedal too.
Features
There are not a lot of features but I still love it. When you press down you get what you want. When you press up you get what you want. In the middle you get a classic tone.

This is a very well made product.

"Crybaby!!"

Overall: 4 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
Verified Customer zZounds has verified that this reviewer made a purchase from us.
There's really no need for me to purchase another wah. I like the range this one has and it suits it's purpose just fine.
Sound
This is my first Wah pedal. It performs like I expected I guess. It's got great range and it's very simple to use. If you like classic rock or funky "wikka, wakka" sounds, you'll dig this pedal. ;)
Features
I was a little disappointed that it didn't come with a power supply or 9v battery so I could use it right out of the box. I'd suggest (to the pedal's manufacturer) adding another $5-10 to the MSRP and adding the power cable. I don't want to lower the overall quality rating of this pedal though so I'm rating the features a 7.
Ease of Use
If your a total noob to guitar and effects, wah pedals may take a few minutes to get used to using but really, it's super-easy. You're just "rolling" the effect with your foot on a pedal. If you can accellerate an automobile, you can use this pedal. ;)
Quality
I've had this pedal a few weeks now and use it in my home and at band practice (once or twice a week). I carry it in a backpack with cables and other junk and it works fine. Take decent care of it (ie, don't throw it around or kick the crap out of it) and it should last a long time.
Value
Awesome effect for the money. They should add another $5-10 and throw in the damned power supply though. At least send a battery with the unit for another buck or two. >:\
Manufacturer Support
No need for support.
The Wow Factor
Really? It's a wah pedal. I looks like a wah pedal. If you're a girl guitarist, bedazzle it or something.

Overall I love it! And so will you!
Sound
The sound is great! I used to own a Ibanez WD7 Weeping Demon Wah Pedal but compared to the Cry Baby it's a piece of s***! I sold my weeping demon and I plan on replacing it with a Cry Baby!(A suggestion for all owners:Try playing those extended, shredding solos holding the pedal completely down the whloe time, it sounds awsome!)
Features
My favorite feature is the fact that there are noknobs or switches on the side or anything it's just the pedal and that is all you will ever need! Sadly I can only give it a nine on feature cause that is the only feature!
Ease of Use
It's so easy cause it's a pedal and nothing more.
Quality
It's made like a M***** F****** TANK!!!!!!!
Value
It's worth every God damn penny!

this thing does not have any extra bull $hit on it so you cant comprimise the tone by fidling with knobs & junck like that.
Ease of Use
best and easiest to use effect pedal on the market as far as i'm concerned.
Quality
anyone who knows anything about playing guitar they know that dunlop makes all their products with a high quality, and nothing has changed with this thing it's built like a brick $hit house and looks cool as hell (all black.)
Value
this thing could be easily worth more, unfortunatly i bought it when it cost more, but its all good i feel i got my moneys worth.
Manufacturer Support
dunlop just makes the best everything in their catagory wether it be picks, wah pedals, ect.
The Wow Factor
this thing is as sexy as it gets... i mean it's a CRY BABY.

This pedal will never grow old. Don't get anything else but this. It all seems trivial and pointless after you plug into this!!!
Sound
Sounds great. I'm a classic/stoner rock guitarist and am a sucker for full-throated fuzzed out freakouts. I totally dig the noises I can get from this pedal. Whether I'm doing Hendrix-style breakdowns, Pantera sweeps, or shallow-filter funky funk the Crybaby is all you need to kick butt!!! For those of you who own a talkbox also, I highly recommend you couple the two pedals together to really coax some amazing sounds out of your guitar.
Features
Simple, which is perfect for what it's made for. Forget the extra garbage and name brand rip-offs that really just market the endorser's name and not the music. Everyone started with a standard, found their sound with a standard, and generally rocked our socks off with a standard wah pedal.
Ease of Use
So easy, a caveman could do it! You can use it straight forward with relative ease, and veterans can dig how expressive and truly versatile this crybaby can really be. Just like anything, you have to practice with it to get good at it, but like lifting weights, the results will be great!
Quality
Built like a tank. I had a friend who treated his crybaby like so and this thing was still weeping as if it had just been opened. I've dropped it, kicked it, drowned it, short of gutting the thing of its electronics and it still works.
Value
It's almost a crying shame how much profit Dunlap could be making off of this pedal. Almost dirt cheap and very reliable. Disgustingly under priced (though most buyers won't be complaining about that).
Manufacturer Support
I haven't had a problem yet, but I'm sure the support has quality enough to match the pedal.
The Wow Factor
I can't decide if I'll marry my Gibson or this.

"A Great Pedal... Usually"

Overall: 2.5 out of 5 stars

. Because of there excellent rep and numerous well-known musicians who endorse these products I will give dunlop the benefit of the doubt that this is just a rare pedal that somehow ended up defective. in fact I will probably end up buying a more expensive dunlp pedal such as the Dimebag or the Zakk Wylde for shred!
Sound
There is hardly a difference with or without the wah on! It doesn't have good sound at all. Maybe mine is defective or something because my friend's sounds good, but mine sounds terrible. I've tried everything but the pedal's sound is near non-existent.
Features
No features, but none needed. A simple wah-wah with nothing flashy.
Ease of Use
It certainly is easy to use, just plug in and play.
Quality
The pedal is durable. Even after many failed attempts to get that classic crybaby sound (and a couple of kicks out of anger) it has only a few scratches. It is a dependable pedal (when it actually works).
Value
Well usually this a bargain for that classic crybaby wah. But in my case I feel like I wasted my money on it.
Manufacturer Support
I haven't dealt with them so I really don't know.
The Wow Factor
I would feel that I overpaid if it was free! This pedal just takes up space. I am going to trade it in to my local(and unsuspecting) music store for a better one.

"A Good Wah-Wah"

Overall: 4.5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
A very well built and well sounding wah pedal and its built like a tank
Sound
Excelent Wah Sound but when using it with Boss' Turbo Distortion a.k.a. DS-2 I found that the Turbo 2 mode on the pedal drowns out the wah sound when putting the Cry Baby before the distortion.
Features
No features it just does one thing but I give it a ten because it does an excelent job at its one feature
Ease of Use
Very Simple no knobs or dials to turn just plug 'n play
Quality
Very well built probably could be run over by a truck and still work
Value
Worth Every Penny if this was stolen I would by a new one right away
