All of my friends want it. The thing is unbelievably well made. Heavy, solid metal. Rock-solid, smooth controls with chrome-plated knobs. I wish everything was built this well and sounded this cool. I tried 7 different OD pedals before I bought this one.

Feature:
a second channel or switch between two different settings

Quality:
a better bypass/on off connection would be good and something to limit noise without losing sound quailty

Value:
very good value for money

Desirability:
a choice of colours wolud be good but otherwise the pedals are very 'sexy'

Sound:
better circuit quailty would help remove some of the noise produced

Overall:
I have several danelecrto products and some produce unwanted noise but if they get more noisy i'll have to abandon their use and i'm somewhat asnd addict when it comes too buying a getting the right sounds out of my guitar as well as looking for new ones. I also own a danelecto guitar although strats are my number ones i like the sounds

Quality:
The metal shell is tough, the switch has worked flawlessly but the knobs and ac jack are cheap plastic.

Sound:
This may sound crazy but my Daddy-o sounds better than my TS-9 !! I play a PRS through a Mesa Boogie, I appreciate good sound.

Overall:
I buy pedals to "enhance" tone, that is my main concern and this pedal does an excellent job. I can easily overlook some cheap plastic knobs when I can get this kind of tone at this price.

I USE IT AS A PREAMP THROUGH A FENDER HOTROD DEVILLE 212. THE TWO COMPLIMENT EACH OTHER VERY WELL AND I HAVEN'T FOUND A PEDAL I LIKE BETTER WHEN PLAYING BLUES/ROCK. I USE A SEPARATE PREAMP FOR METAL/GRUNGE APPLICATIONS.

Got this in addition to my DS1 and
Distortion/Overdrive pedals. This
is a more versitile pedal than the
DS1, certainly, but is nice for me
have to get crisp, screeching
distortion out of my Schecter Tempest.
I want to sound like Steve Albini,
not Steve Vai.

Quality:
It's made of very solid materials (metal), I just fear the day my foot slips and wipes out all the little plastic knobs at the top...

Value:
I wouldn't pay over $55 for it.

Desirability:
I feel this product will cause few riots with it's appeal, but it's useful to the many of us who can't aford a combo tube amp.

Sound:
It's a cheap alternative to not playing through a tube amp.

Support:
never had to deal with Danelectro.

Overall:
There are better tube pedals out there (electro harmonix Black Finger, which uses acctual vacuum tubes in the pedal), but for the price, it's quite good.

When I bought Daddy O, I was surprised with variety of the sound, which I can get via it. It varies from mellow jazz sound to guns'n'roses-like leads. I played whole day with it... My first desire after purchase was to throw the overdrive I used before to the window, however fortunately I found better application - sold it and get some beer... :)

So I can recommend it to anyone who needs cool overdrive. It can be tuned to almost all the music styles.

I have had this pedalfor a couple of years now, and even though I don't use it too much anymore, Every time I take it off of my shelf, wipe the dust off it and plug it in, It still sounds very good. It gets a nice, laid back, sound with just the right amount of saturation. It handles especially well when the MID knob is turned down. Its a lot of fun to use.

"Junk" I own one volume chokes off your volume to the setting on the pedal. Your guitar volume becomes a gain control with no control of volume.

Sounds like a cheep solid state thin distortion pedal, not a rich overdrive pedal.
