Sound: Easy, smooth chorus. Great for smoothing out your rythm tone. Feature: Two tone buttons, one on/off switch.....not many options. Quality: Made well.....plastic case is a bit wimpy. Value: Cheap, nice sound. If you are looking for quick, smooth chorus, this is your pedal. If you want variety and a deep range....look at other pedals Manufacturer Support: Haven't had to use it. The Wow Factor: Small, sexy...easy to use. Cool color.....unique look.......Would like to see the case made out of metal.. Overall: Does just what I need it to do. Have gigged with it and it held up well.

SPOTLIGHT REVIEW
Sound: The chorus sounds it makes is perfect. Very very analog. I have not heard a digital chorus sound this good. If you like your chorus to sound like crystal maybe this is not the unit for you, but if you like milky creamy chorus, this is the best pedal for the money. Feature: Not a lot of controls, but I like that. It is very musical sounding, everthing is set just right. I don't want too many options onstage, they will just confuse me while I am trying to make music. I want something that sounds great to start with and has just enough control on it for me to tweak it for a song or to my personal taste. This pedal delivers that. Quality: I would feel better if this pedal looked more sturdy, but I've had it for years, gigged with it, played in a bunch of bands with it, and it is still chugging. I mean I have had zero problems with it. So how can I complain just because it LOOKS cheap? I've had much sturdier pedals that have broken in less time, so danelectro gets high marks from me. BTW, I have tons of these little mini effects, and they all are still working after years of use and abuse. Value: This is an amazing value as are ALL of the danelectro mini effects. I mean you can build a whole pedalboard that sounds great for what you would pay for ONE boutique stomp box. Do the math kids. Maybe the boutique effects sound better, but comeon, this is rock and roll. Not all the minis sound as good as the others, but this one sounds just right. Manufacturer Support: You know I honestly don't know, but I can't find any contact info on their website anymore so I'm assuming that it is not too easy to get a hold of them. Haveing said that, I've never needed to and I hope I never will need to. The Wow Factor: I love this thing. It looks cool, but a little cheap, but even that could be seen as cool in a certain light. Go get it! Overall: I love this thing and as long as it is working I will not need another chorus. This and the mini-tremolo have been staples on all my pedalboards since I've got them. I have gone though moog delays, vox wahs, and rat distsortions, but I have had no need to change these two great sounding pedals.

Sound: When it worked it sounded remarkably good! Feature: I wanted a simple Mono-Chorus, I was hoping that this would fit the bill because I have some other Dan-Electro effects and they work pretty good. There's not much to it just two knobs. When it worked It gave me the depth and color I was looking for. Ease of Use: Can't get much easier than this one, just two knobs. Quality: I am very easy on my toys! The first Milkshake chorus that I owned I bought used and it worked for about three months. It sounded good so I bought a replacement it lasted about three minutes. I CAN NOT RECOMMEND THIS CHORUS! My luck with these is not good! Value: These units don't hold up! Buy something that will last like Boss, DOD or MXR. I really like MXR stuff give them a look. Manufacturer Support: What good is support if the device dies without any cause or reason? If you were to gig with this unit how many spares are you going to take with you? You are better off purchasing a higher quality chorus. The Wow Factor: I like the size looks and sound, but they don't hold up! Overall: The first Milkshake that I owned sounded real nice until its short life came to an end. The replacement did not last long enough for me to decide how it sounded. Don't make the mistake I did buy a quality chorus. You get what you pay for!

SPOTLIGHT REVIEW
Sound: The name says it all. Quite a lush tone for such a small box. I first sought out this unit to get a nice chorus sound to play "Come As You Are." It did the trick for me, and I have used it since for other things. It can sound thin sometimes, but the key is having a good equalizer setting in the mix. Plus, with some experimenting with different levels on the knobs, you can get some pretty bizzare sounds, if you're into that. Feature: Only two knobs...speed and depth. Recently, I bought a Boss GT-8 to satiate my ever growing appetite for tone, and there are many more options for the chorus on it: resonance, low-cut and hi-cut filters, even mono and stereo options. Such features would be nice to have on the Danelectro, but as it is a smaller pedal, it is not possible to include very much. For the features it does have, this pedal does a fine job. Ease of Use: Like I said before, two knobs and one button. Couldn't get much simpler. The back plate is easy enough to remove when time comes to change the battery. Quality: Despite the cheap appearence at first glance, this pedal is pretty sturdy. The plastic casing is thick, and with little abuse it looks like it will stay together for as long as it is designed to. Of course, the story may be different for players who are rough with their equipment, but I try to be relatively careful with mine. The ONLY gripe I have with this pedal and other like- pedals is that the battery life is way too short. There must be some way to design these pedals to where leaving them plugged in, but switched off, does not drain battery life. I'm still waiting for an answer on that one. Value: I got this new a few years back, so I am sure the price has gone down since then. But still, for the price it was then, I still feel it is reasonable.
