I used to own an MXR Phase 90 and almost bought another one, but I tried this instead. It's sounds great- very close to the MXR. It has a warm, retro tone- perfect for "Shine on . . ." and "Have a Cigar" by Floyd or "Stranglehold" by Nugent. For the price you can't go wrong.

The price is amazing for the sound. The only issue is that there are not very many options when it comes to the controls (only one, I think, knob on it). But there is a WIDE variety of sound that you can get from the pedal. You can get a mild whoosh to a crazed "tremelo" out of it, so BUY IT!!!

The lack of flexibility isn't really a problem, since phaser sounds aren't really common, but it has a problem when the signal gets too complex. The phaser starts clipping, and sounds overdriven even when the signal should be clean.
