10 out of 10Feature:
One of the bad things about this pedal is non-versatility. Distortion on, distortion off. There are two switches on the thing but it is still basically heavy distortion or nothing.
Quality:
Here's where the $20.00 pedal differs from the $200.00 one: quality. It needs to be treated pretty carefully to get a long life. (no jumping up and down on the flimsy plastic pedal) When used normally, it should last a long time. (but come on- show me a guitar player thats normal!!!)
Value:
value is "Amazing" for the sound, "Average" for the physical quality.
Desirability:
Personally, I like the retro look. I'm cool w/ that. I don't play blues or oldies or any of that crap- i play punk rock mostly but i still like the retro.
Sound:
The sound of this thing is amazing. It totally blew me away- a sound comparable to a $200.00 effects pedal wrapped up in a $20.00 effects pedal. The sustain was incredible.
Ease of Use:
Pretty simple: my mom could use this thing.
Support:
Never contacted the Danelectro company. I'll just assume the best. :-)
Overall:
Overall its "pretty good". Did i mention the sound of the thing?

5 out of 10Feature:
Controls for both level and overdrive
Quality:
Top is plastic, but its tough plastic. Bottom is metal.
Value:
Super inexpensive, but not cheap! Compares to much more expensive overdrive boxes.
Desirability:
60s styling, looks good :) Better than just a box with switches
Sound:
Good sound, does what it is supposed to do.
Support:
Giving it 5 because I have had no reason to contact the company, so I can't give it a good or bad rating.
Overall:
This'll be on my floor for awhile. No plans right now to replace it.

4 out of 10Feature:
theres nutin to it
Quality:
it is stinky like cheese!
Desirability:
it looks like my granpa would use it, with it 60s style
Sound:
this thing is horribibble. i'm sorry to all of the likers of this pedal. i haven't even been playing for long and i still think it sucks. it doesn't do much besides give you dos cannels on an uno channeled amp. i wouldn't reccomend it to any one with a dos channeled amp.

10 out of 10Feature:
Everything you need, nothing you don't.
Quality:
Plastic upper case, but appears solid. The rest is as solid as it gets.
Value:
It doesn't get better.
Sound:
Very transparent pedal. I work in a guitar shop and compared it to everything I could get my hands on. Only two pedals gave me drive without changing my tone. This one and the $190 Maxon OD808. Guess which one I took home. Maxon sounded better, but not for that price.
Support:
Don't really know??? No problems yet.
Overall:
Very good pedal. Very good price. Very good value. If they're prices stay low like this I'll daisy chain dano pedals all the way across the stage.

9 out of 10Quality:
its pretty quality
Sound:
It gives a good fuzzy distortion, like hendrix or page. gets kinda too chunky and noisy when the overdrive goes up too high. it's a great thing for 20 bucks though.

8 out of 10Quality:
the underside of the pedal is hard tighten correctly with just your fingers, put if you use your keys or something, it fits just fine. there were no blemishes, but the freakin battery died the day i bought the pedal. its a completely solid pedal for its size.
Value:
this was the cheapest effect ive ever seen, and as far as im concerned, its one of the best sounding.
Sound:
With my combo amp (marshall) on the clean channel, and all the knobs at 6 besides middle and bass, which are at 3, the overdrive gives you a great sound, thick enogh for a good rythym, and enough sustain for lead.

Its cheap, but its sturdy. Heavy steel base makes it stay put. I've had it for months and I'm still on my first battery. It makes my 10 watt marshall with a fender squier strat sound great!
