I am a mobile DJ and was looking for a new speaker setup for high end indoor gigs as my current setup while sounding great still, have been used mainly outdoors and are showing wear. I decided on my second rig to go all Cerwin Vega with Crown Amps and a DBX Driverack+ for these high end gis. Wne twith CV due to their looks Excellant speakers. They are dual use: Floor Monitor or Mains. Mine shipped as Mains (which I will be using them for in my Dj setup, so perfect) Pretty easy to convert to floor monitor by removing some screws and repositioning cones. They are heavier than my other 15" Mains. The craftmanship is superb. CV was spot on wrapping these in a rugged paint versus carpeting. Their grill is sexy! The sound quality is clear and loud.
Sound
These speakers put out crystal clear highs and solid mids/low. I have them connected to a Crown XLS 2000 via a DBX Driverack PA+. Every note is perfection without strain.
Features
These can be used as Floor Monitors or Mains. I use them as mains mounted over the top of a pair of CV AB-36Cs. Minor inconvenience if you need to bi-amp these as you'll be removing alot of screws from a back plate and side handle to access the jumper.
Ease of Use
Ease of use is excellant. Mine are connected to a DBX Driverack PA+ (which already has this model pre-programmed into it) plug and play
Quality
So pleased CV used a rugged paint instead of carper to surround the cabinets. These are alot heavier than my outdoor mains, the new handles are solid and make moving them easy
Value
Very much worth the price for both a very visually appealing speaker and quality sound

Haven't had to reach out to manufacturer on this model so can't rate their quality yet

If you are looking pro audio monitors for live stage, look no further. These monitors will handle 1000 watts you will never need that much power. I am using a dbx 32 channel duel EQ with these and they will give you a clean crisp sound without distortion even at high volume. all my equipment is Cerwin Vega, amps, mains, subs and now my floor monitors which can also be used in a smaller venue as mains. If your looking for pro audio look to Cerwin Vega, very high quality.
