Sound: Clean, clear sound. I replaced a Crown XLS with this XTi 4000 and the difference was immediately noticeable. Highs were better defined and vocals cut through much better. Feature: Not using the built-in DSP right now, but the features are terrific for this price point. I do use the limiter and am happy to have the feature. Ease of Use: Using the faceplate buttons to make adjustments is fairly easy, but I recommend downloading the HiQNet software from Harmon and using the USB capabilities of the amps. This is particularly useful if your amps are all HiQNet capable. Makes configuration a breeze. HiQNet is also useful if/when firmware upgrades are released. Quality: Appears well-made. I have three XTi amps and have noted some minor differences in fit and finish between each. Value: A great value for the features offered. Manufacturer Support: Never used Crown's support, so no opinion. The Wow Factor: It's a good looking amp. This model is being discontinued and replaced with the 4002 model, which looks a lot sleeker. However, I don't buy Crown for its looks - I buy for its performance. Overall: I expect to receive many years service from this amp. I intend to purchase another in the near future, and already own two other XTi models.

Sound: awesome you can hook it up to your pc via usb and set all the EQ's...great lcd screen. Feature: all you need in an amp..plus more..wish it had 1/4 inch inputs Ease of Use: hook it up and ur ready to rock..easy pc software called system architect..and you can switch it from bridge mono to stereo and set the limits Quality: it's crown what do ou expec??...IT TAKES A BEATING!!!!!! Value: it could be cheaper...just like evreything else Lol Manufacturer Support: had some questions about the software..the heped me out right away The Wow Factor: now now,dont get to excited it's only and amp..but it looks REALLY GOOD! Overall: i like it i have had it since october..runs like a charm never overheats or anyting.

Sound: Excellent. I run four of these at 4 ohms bridged on tops and subs - sounds amazing. Feature: The DSP on this is INCREDIBLE. The amp comes with stock presets, but that is only 5% of what it can do. Buy this amp and download the free System Architect. With this software you can configure and save over a dozen user presets. Each channel has independent configuration of EQ, compression, crossover, subsynth, etc. I was able to sell off all my outboard crossovers, limiters, etc and go straight from the mixer into the poweramps. Ease of Use: Easy to use. The System Architect software takes a few hours to go thru the first time, but it's worth it. Quality: I think that one of my amps has a channel that drops out. I had to cycle it twice at a gig to get it to come back. Manufacturer Support: Online warranty registration is not as nice as the QSC site - no confirmation email. Overall: Light, powerful, DSP, & Crown. This is an awesome amp.

Sound: This amp sounds awesome! Not yet using any of the DSP, but loving the clear, bright sound. Make sure you select an amp that allows extra headroom (i.e. is rated for more W than your speakers program rating). You don't really want to have to push any amp up to 100%, and you definately don't want to under-power your speakers. Feature: Not lacking any thing. Ease of Use: Very easy to hook up and use, but again, I am not yet using the built-in DSP features. Flexible inputs/outputs. Quality: Solid, pro quality all the way. Value: Good amps are costly, but this one was absolutely worth it. I bought two B-stock, at a total savings of $700 total. They look/perform and are warranted like new. Manufacturer Support: Have not needed to contact support, but the online info is very complete and Crown has a good reputation. The Wow Factor: Looks great, screams "professional". For installed sound, some would argue that controls in the back are more appropriate, or that the DSP is unneeded (because it likely duplicates functionality that will be found in other needed gear), but I don't mind and think this represents a great value. Overall: I expect 10+ years from this amp, and would buy it again in a heartbeat. I have no regrets.
