Our group owns four of these babies! We run each of them in the "bridge" mode. So, our PA is pushing around 7,000 watts. In the good old days, an amplifier like this one would have cost thousands and would not have performed as well. We are very happy with our units and we would not hesitate in purchasing them again. QSC and Yamaha make some fine amplifiers, but not at this price and probably not as dependable. We've owned these units for about three years and we've only had one in the shop. We did send one back to Crown but their warranty covered the shipping and repair!

I previously had owned two Power Base 1 amps (recently just sold the second one to a fellow DJ, who is now a proud owner of two) and did not hesitate to purchase another one; this time the CE-2000. I'd recommend Crown amps to any DJ or band, they are truly workhorses, very reliable and definitely affordable. I'm using them to power two JBL Mpro 418s subs. There are many amps on the market, however in my opinion Crown amps are the best! - The Spin Doctor

Style of Music: noise

I have this in my home theater setup powering a pair of 12" subwoofers. It is very clean with lots of headroom. I haven't before used such a monster of an amp. The sound quality is also good, I used it to power my towers to see what it was like.

My crown ce 2000 is a great work horse. its a lot quiter than my qsc rmx amp, but its not as clean. An ok amp for under a $1000.oo . rating "7", 10 the highest.
