Style of Music: All. From Goddess oriented a cappela to death metal

I use it for my front-of-house speakers in my PA rack, along with a Mackie 800I for monitors. Beautiful combination, though the Mackie is probably overkill. Recently supplied the system for Copper Wimmin's CD release party, and it sounded awesome. I would recommend it for anyone looking for a club-size PA amp! Though, as to that, I've also used it for outdoor events spanning several acres and nearly 1,000 people, and it was still loud enough to cause the guy who lives across the lake to call the county sherrif. Crown definately rules the power waves!

This amp rocks! I use my CE1000 to run front of house mains & subs and it gets the job done every time. Cleanest amp I've ever used, no background hiss ever. Mabey not as many features as a Mackie but much better price/performance value. Crown delivers what they promise at an affordable price for the working musician.
