The Wow Factor

Sound:
The sound is the best out of 12 different amps I tried first. The sound is rich and true, and had a CA125 but sold it to buy the CA125D. The diffrence was only $50 for the deal I swung so I thought what the hell trade a 9 yr old amp for a 2 yr old with effects! It sounds great live and with the send and return output it help for the rack proccessors.
Feature:
All the features are very useful. My effects rack helps to get the hiss out (thats very annoying) and the Feedback destroyer stops the midrange feedback that seems to be a problem with Acoustic guitars. I wish it had a parametric EQ onboard to fine tune it all. I feel the 3 ch is the baet feature especially the lo-z for mic. Perfect for gigs, studio, or anything I've done. Overall the best I found especially for the price!
Quality:
The amp is solid as a rock, and made very well. The finish & fit was done real well although I liked the light tan tolex better on the last few models vs the dark brown. It is very reliable , and a work horse that has never gave me any trouble. I now own a Blue Voodoo BV150H, and love Crate products. Especially the 5 yr transferable warranty that is transferable. The best in the industry as far as I'm concerned! Never went down on me YET, and I think it will last for ever as I have all my equipment serviced once a year. Their like changing oil in a car. If you do it regularly it will last for a long time. Take care of it, and it will take care of you!
Manufacturer Support:
Any service work I've had on Crate products were no problem as I've dealt with the same store for about 25 years, and Crate always paid up with no hassle! I never dealt with customer service so I can't comment on that area. All my service has been pleasant tranactions.
The Wow Factor:
The overall appearance is wonderful especially when you look at the new CA125DG. GREEN Tolex? UGGG ! It's straight forward design with the tilt-back cabinet was very smart of the engineering department. Look how many others do it now! Very good addition to my other Crate gear.
Overall:
I will keep this amp till it falls apart unless they come out with a Blue Voodoo Acoustic with 2-12"s in it. Hey Crate engineering. Can you take a HINT, HINT !If it were lost or stolen I would definitly look for another as I said you couldn't pay me to take a GREEN CA125DG!
