Feature:
It did not come with the footpedal, but it's a great alternative to the PAR can lights. This unit puts out as much light as Par Cans, but for the mobile DJ it's ideal because it's all one unit. It has three stages, all on, programmed patterns, or it can use it's mic and change go with the music.
Quality:
Nothing looks loose, the gels do fall out easily if you don't watch them, but as long as you realize it's a breakable object your fine.
Value:
$30/Can light or $150 for twelve lights that do the same? No brainer, take this light. Don't be fooled by it's size, it'll put out enough light to keep any room well lit.
Overall:
If it had clips to keep the gels in it'd be a perfect 10.

Feature:The 12 lights work well. The trouble now is finding replacement bulbs. I need 8 now, and zzounds does not sell the bulbs, nor can you get the EXACT bulb at Home Depot. Chauvet does not return my calls or email, so service sucts. these bulbs are 130 volt, 12 volt may work with a transformer, but I don't want to go there.

It was a good price, but like I said, I can't find replacement bulbs, and one strip now is non-functional.
Desirability:
Not when you can't get replacements, or the company won't return calls, can't get through to the company.

I have two of these. They are easy to use.

Overall:
I will eventually replace both strip lights with something else. I also bought two foot controlers, thinking the first was defective, but did not return it during warranty period. The 'blackout' switch, suppose to turn off the light, does not. Neither controler will turn off the light, although the other functions work.
