Sound is crystal and transparent as any good audio interface should be.

basically all I need but I wish VS100 has more assignable knobs and one more motorized slider. Also I'd like to be able using wave recorder when connected to PC through USB, currently it's not possible. With unit was included generous software package like Sonar VS which is very nice trimmed version of Sonar X1.

manual is not to descriptive, online support also no complete. Roland's video demonstration don't show much. Most of the features I discovered on cakewalk forum.

as usually roland products are very well made, this unit is like a brick and looks very professional and solid.

It's a little bit overpriced but you can get good deal if you need to, especially at zzounds.com.

The preamps are great on the V-Studio 100. Sound quality is excellent also. Most bang for the buck in a USB Audio Interface in this price range. NO IFS, ANDS, OR BUTS, and I've tried 'em all.

ACT control of software plug-ins, a complete DAW controller with 100mm touch sensitive motorized fader, Digital Mixer with Reverb, Compression, and Parametric EQ built in (and sound great) 96Khz Sample rate, 8 ins, 11 outs...4 Balanced ins, 1 Hi-Z switchable, the list goes on...AND a Secure Digital Stand Alone recorder and Mixer to boot! Granted there are some features missing...but WOW...what do you expect?

Product is very easy to use...there were some glitches getting up and running ..but overall...very simple.

The product is well built and feels durable...Meal Housing, nice display...metal touch sensitive fader, rubber buttons on trasport control, multifunction buttons and knobs, trim and sensitivity on inputs, Pan Control,.....On Board DSP Compressor/EQ button, Reverb selection, there's a LOT in this thing....very well done...5 times the product of the MBox...with MUCH BETTER sound and function...IMHO

This is BY FAR the most bang for you buck....anywhere....highest quality, most features, and most useful in this price range.

Support for the V-Studio has been good..but I just upgraded to Sonar X1 and can't get their Support group to get me my serial number...and I bought it FROM THEIR SITE!!!

It's a VERY Professional looking piece of gear...AND you get a lot for your money...the Interface, DAW Controller, SD recorder, Digital Mixer, in a sleek professional looking package. Sonar VS DAW Software, Studio Instruments, Rapture LE, Dimension LE, and Guitar Rig 3 LE...and quite a few more plug-ins, that's quite a bit for your money...IMHO THAT makes it VERY SEXY!!
