"THE REAL DEAL !"

Overall: 4.5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
Sound
This is the first product I have bought in a long time that actually works better than I expected. I have tried other wireless for my guitar and they did not deliver my tone...The DWG 1000 does. I think it is great that an American companycan bring out new technology at a great price...just in time for everybody to switch before DTV makes their analog wireless useless
Manufacturer Support
I have had no trouble
The Wow Factor
Not the sexiest looking thing, but it delivers !

Used at one practice and one 4 hour gig. Completely satisfied with sound quality, no outside interference. Only improvement I could think of would be to make it smaller, plug directly into instrument and amp (like guitar bug systems). This would eliminate cables.
Quality
Will probably buy a couple of cables for guitar to transmitter and receiver to amp for spares. Seems to be most vulnerable part of system.
Value
Compared to RF units, it is a great buy.

"Pretty good!"

Replace it with a better one when I get rich. The low end response and latency are problems.
Sound
Great noise performance: no radio noise, good range. Walked around the house without dropouts. Being unplugged seemed to lower my guitar pickup noise (AC buzz), which is still stronger than the DWG1000's noise level. Handles strong signals well, too, up to 1V RMS. I tested the frequency response and Brace's spec is a lie on the high end. It is -3dB at 25Hz and 6.6KHz. -1dB at 46Hz and 3.3KHz. So, the sizzly high end is rolled off but most people would not notice for guitar use. The low end is OK, but if you play 5-string bass and have an amp that goes down far, you can notice a bit of weakness down on the bottom and less thumpy impact. I wish they had set the low cutoff a whole octave lower. The latency is 10.2mS (time delay through the two boxes), which is noticeable if you add any more - such as standing away from the speakers or if you add any other delays in the chain. A lack of immediacy to the response to your playing. Wish that was half or less delay.
Features
I'd prefer power switches over the plug-in to turn on bit, my guitar works that way also, so I wind up with a loose cord that's free on both ends. But it's not important.
Ease of Use
No learning curve. Plug and go.
Quality
Good stuff.
Manufacturer Support
No need to contact for support.

I have used this system for guitar for probably 10 years at this point. I have never had an issue with it. It does just what it’s supposed to do, doesn’t color my sound, and isn’t wonky with interference. It’s not exactly sexy to look at but it does deliver the goods. One note though…a power switch on the transmitter would have been a nice touch.
Sound
The sound is transparent. I’ve never had an issue with interference.
Features
The size is probably the biggest selling point. A power switch on the transmitter would have been nice.
Ease of Use
Just plug it in and go.
Quality
I’ve dropped it a handful of times over the years and it’s never failed.
Value
It is.
Manufacturer Support
Never dealt with them.
The Wow Factor
Probably the convenience of being able to stick the whole system in your stage bag.

Musical Background:

Former pro, now much quieter.

Musical Style:
