I can not make loopes longer than my first loop it just starts looping everything without me pressing the overdub pedal. I thought that was the whole point. Boss says it is sopposed to do that but I dont know if I believe them, I think they didnt want to talk to me anymore. Does anyone not had this problem?
Value:
If it did what I thoght Id give it a 9

10 out of 10Feature:
I like the way it works, although like some others I think a bigger box could have been built with more pedals, to do reversing etc, and from one memory to another. But as it isthis unit is extremely good, amazingly versatile and gives the player immense possibilities. You need to practise, for sure, but as as an extension to an instrument it's far more versatile than most effects: I mean the double tracking possibilities, the backwards sounds, the ability to erase by pedal and do something else on the move is great. And to learn tunes, solos etc, over chords, what could be simpler... I wish it had a volume pedal built in, switchable from either loop or live sound.
Quality:
Can't fault the build quality. It feels solid and works well, but it's still new. I have every hope it'll last, and judging by the 3-year warranty, so do the Boss people.
Value:
In England we pay in pounds what you Americans pay in dollars, i.e. approaching twice as much. So, it's expensive here, but a good product I think. I think British importers don't try hard to be competitive.
Desirability:
It looks good, understated, and certainly more professional and serious than some makers' retro style effects (which I don't like the appearance of) that look like toys or pressed tin robots from a bygone age. But then there are guitars and gizmos for every taste.
Sound:
The sound is excellent, instrument-wise - haven't tried vocals - and what comes out is what goes in. There is a seamless loop, unlike a Zoom 707II I bought (and returned) because every loop had a giant crackle at the 'seam'.
Support:
Can't say about Boss. The fellow in the shop/dealership was extremely helpful, explained it thoroughly, answered questions. I felt I was in good hands and well, we'll see if I need them.
Overall:
I like it and hope it'll keep on going. If a much more comprehensive device appears, with multi-loop possibilities, I might be tempted, but I like the simplicity and versatility of this loop station. But then I like just the guitar and amp and not a pedalboard with dozens of knobs, several pedals and infinite parameters.

10 out of 10Feature:
Features are nearly perfect. 10 different phrases for 10 different loops. Reverse option. Mic input. Volume levels on Inst input. More time than what you need for looping. What else can you ask for?
Some people said that it could have had some effects added to it, but dude! It's a looping pedal, not a freaking modulation pedal.
Quality:
It's seem durable.
Value:
Could be alittle cheaper, but hey, it was either that or the boomerang and that thing's $400
Desirability:
The looks are whatever. Not the worse looking pedal, Not the best.
Sound:
The sound is pretty damn good. Some people said it wasn't that great, but it's really not that bad. The sound comes out almost exactly the same way in came in.
I just think people dont take the time to understand it.
Support:
I haven't dealt with the company wait. So I'll just give this one a ten.
Overall:
Come on man, how can you not like it. It's everything you need for playing lead, pre-recording, and sound-on-sound simulation.
It's great!

7 out of 10Feature:
for the price it sells for it should come with a plug in cord or the dc cord or something. It really needs an off/on switch or button (would be a cheap improvement). It also really needs a headphone jack for monitoring !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It should also have dual output for stereo . Seaming of the loop is very hard and unfogiving making it certain suicide to use on the fly at a concert. loop jumps !!!!!!
Value:
a little bit high but would be worth it if it performed as advertised which it has not for me
Desirability:
the concept is great now perfect it work out the bugs make it more user friendly (simple). Then I can play all the guitar parts myself. Never liked the rythm player any way !!!!!!!
Support:
Have had it about a year. not sure it is working correctly. cant get it to loop smoothly. called tech support after trying it for about a month. he said "just keep practicing with it". It's been a year and I see no diff. I haven't been able to use it in public yet. Very disappointing so far.
Overall:
Just about given up on it. I'm looking and asking other musicians about other brands of similar devices now. If it would just seam the phrases {be more intelligent}, I would then be happy with the purchase. Right now I feel like I got ripped off.
