I've been messing with the 4 programable memories & have dialed in some amazing tones!
The VERY cool "Heavy Octave' feature allows you to dial in overtones on the low strings, like a mock droped tune, or 7th string. Using it at very small quantities sorta gives you that heavy Zakk tone!
This is one HELL of a box & I HIGHLY suggest that you check one out at your local shop ASAP!

If there were any more features, it would be a pedalboard.
Quality:
Frankly, I wouldn't worry about it. You can bash it all you want to, but it's just not going to break.
Value:
I don't know, which sounds better to you? $200 or $2000?
Desirability:
I think this pedal makes a bold statement with the color yellow, but it really hits home with the size. Not too big, not too small, and the pads on the bottom stick like crazy.
Sound:
This pedal's sound is perfect! No feedback whatsoever. I'm starting to think that BOSS stole the cicuitry straight out of the other pedals.
Overall:
I'd like to see someone else try and top that.

"Very good sound and not bad on battery usage"
I use it with my accoustic guitar right now because I dont have and electric yet. the distortion sounds from my Highlander IP-2 pick up is not bad for rythym. lead playing is a little weak sounding but my guess is it would sound great if it got sound from a hot single coil or humbucker instead of an accoustic guitar bridge pickup. Seems to be built like a tank but I have only ha dit on yeat and use it once/week.

Tone is great and emulations are mostly accurate.
Unit provides excellent control due to additional "bottom","attack", "turbo", and "octave" controls which are not present on most of the originals being modeled.
