Feature:
Accessories? Nope, didn't come with the power plug, which is the only reason it's not a 10. This pedal's most useful feature is that it uses knobs, making quick-changes or output level changes so easy. The least useful feature, to me anyways, is some of the wah mods, since I'm not in an ambient or insane-metal band. The only thing I wish I had, to be honest, is a footswitch for +5dB or something to control "hey, I'm soloing!" or "I'm back to playing rhythm". That alone would make this thing perfect, at least to me. However, I can always get a gain booster or something. Using a different preset pedal for lead when you only have three of them in memory mode isn't very fun, and for this I should've bought the next more expensive multi board (although then I wouldn't have very many knobs).
Quality:
This thing is a tank. Rugged, beautiful, no blemishes I can find, no loose anything. Reliable: never had a problem. I'm not worried, but it's always wise to have something as a backup, like maybe in my case a chorus and a BD-2 pedal. I already use this "on the road" because I walk a mile to/from where I play, and have also used it on stage and transported it through airport baggage terminals. I can't think of anything that's not quality on this thing. It's warrantied for 5 years. However, I know someone personally who still has the same working Boss CH-2 chorus pedal she bought in highschool, so go figure.
Value:
This thing is worth every dime: I would've had to buy 6 or more individual pedals to do all that I need, easily, plus some sort of container to house them.
Desirability:
This thing is very nice. I spend a lot of time playing it. It comes in a beautiful blue, is clearly labeled, and has good looking controls.
Sound:
Sounds very nice. Deep, loud, and versatile. It responds to my playing flawlessly. Yes, sounds as expressive as I do when I play. Yes, Helps me achieve the sound I'm looking for. Compatible with church playing, yes. I like the delays and choruses, and the wah works good. Some of the distortion models are a bit out-of-a-can, but that's due to having limited space for more knobs. I mean, four knobs but the Boss MT-2 has six because of those multi-knobs. I have used this with a Fender Twin Reverb reissue, various amps, a 1972 authentic fender twin reverb, church sound boards, even my computer, and it sounds great. Live sounds better than recordings, but I'm recording to computer so it's not going to be good. The presets are great, and making your own is easy, and you can make them sound very nice. Boss's website is too valuable not to have available, due to the tons of patches and advice you can read. I use this pedal with an ESP LTD EC100QM ($300). To make it sound better, please include better presets instead of totally random ones, or make it possible to download and inject more using USB or something, but I can't complain. This pedal is very awesome, especially since I detest amp modeling.
Support:
Never had to deal with them because it just plain works. Their website is absolutely awesome. No service or warranty needed yet. Never needed repair.
Overall:
I will probably always use this. I need to be versatile, and there's not enough pedals in the world using a rack mount or any other pedal that would fill my needs. I'd easily need one pedal per song, so if I were ever professional, that would mean one per recorded song, plus anything new we were going to play. That would suck. This pedal doesn't suck. The only thing I'll ever need is a lead pedal, something to +5dB my guitar, and probably in the amp's effects loop. I've played other multi boards, DoD and others, and I dislike amp modeling so much that I looked for a board without it. Also, no other multi board was mainly knobs like this. This thing helps me meet my musical goals very nicely, except not having a "lead" switch. If lost or stolen, yes, I'd buy one, if I didn't already have a backup one. I like most how easy it is and the value. I don't like not having a lead button, or something that changes effects based on pick attack.
