Feature:
It actually has way too many features for me. Having four different compressors is great. You can really tweak your sound that way. Having a bass roll-off on the chorus is key to using it on the bass and this has it. The reverb is of pretty good quality. Being able to set the frequency and Q for the EQ is very useful.

Quality:
This puppy is a TANK. I can't imagine it ever breaking.

Value:
They took the guitar model and added some stuff for bass. I would rather have them remove some of the useless stuff (IMHO) and make a less expensive version.

Sound:
If you're looking for a variety of amp models and sounds, this is the rig for you. You can get a bunch of different sounds by messing around with the parameters for each amp model.

Overall:
I almost returned this, but thank God I didn't. Forget the presets. Really. Most of them are to show off the various effects, not to help you dial in a sound. Instead start with EZ Tone or simply turn off all of the effects and start with a preamp model. You're better off building from scratch. What I did was take each amp model and copy it to a user bank (U1, U2, etc). I then set up the compression, a chorus, a reverb and one other effect. For each model I made three copies (U1-1, U1-2, etc). I then tweaked each one of those. I now have 24 presets that give me a wide range of usable sounds.

I would get a case for it. It is mildly weighty and should be protected.

Quality:
Very reliable. Build to last.

Value:
Best on the market that I've seen yet.

dead sexy

Sound:
This might be the sweetest peice of gear I've ever owned. It does absolutely everything and more. I've run through a couple of effects processors in my time and have always delt with flimsy, cheap pieces of plastic that give off leagues of static and backround noise and "pop" when switching between effects. This GT6B unit is built like a friggen tank, and is excells for live performance and studio usage. Transfers between effects is smooth and instantaneous. A reoccuring theme in most reviews is people's claim that the wah and distortion functions lack intensity. I do not agree. Never underestimate the power of EQ....and this unit has plenty of it. The GT6B has wide and specific EQs within wide and specific EQs and for some effects then some. True, most of the presets are "ho-hum"...but once you get involved with the sound you can pull whatever lows, highs, and in-betweens that you want. The compressor...or should I say compressorS is my favorit part about the device. There is much to learn about the device but it is well worth it.

Overall:
Just get it would ya!

Feature:
Analog knobs for immediate sound tweaking is KING. Easy to understand and, more importantly, remember how to use.

Quality:
Made like a tank and well thought out. It's big and bad and red like the floating head of death itself. The two guitarists in my band are still furiously jealous, even with their digitech crap and pedals and all. Revenge is mine at last!

Value:
It's only a 7 because in a perfect world the government would issue these to every bass player inthe world for free. It's a little pricey... hell, it's very pricey.. but totally worth it.

Desirability:
Like I said before, it's big and bad and red like the floating head of death itself!

Sound:
The stock sounds are extensive and very good, but the great thing was getting deep into the EQ settings and making my own parameters (it allows you a lot of finesse) since I wanted to customize a variety of distortion effects. Also, now the flange, reverb, etc. are all in the unit, too, so I can thoroughly tweak my sound to best effect. This thing lets me do that more than anything else I've seen or used. My PSA-1 rack is now only used as a preamp on a clean setting... and I thought THAT was the bomb before. Go figure.

Support:
I can only say that since I haven't needed it at all, that's the best support there is.

Overall:
I'd get it again, it's tough like brick in face, and has everything I can see needing. Other stuff didn't compare at all except the digitech equivalent, but I tried a cheaper digitech pedal and couldn't see upgrading that, so returned it and got the Boss. Always did love thier pedals, anyway, so I just did the right thing and don't regret it a bit.
