The second in the new Legend Series is the FDR-1, based on the Fender 1965-era Deluxe Reverb — a coveted tube amp known for its natural touch-responsive and distinctive snappy overdriven sound. In conjunction with Fender, BOSS designed this stompbox to recreate the legendary tone of the 1965 Fender Deluxe Reverb amp. Features include the same controls on the original Deluxe Reverb: Level, Gain, Treble, Bass, Vibrato and Reverb. Feature:
After tuning up the amp, the pedal actually has more features to its reverb than any single Fender reverb amp alone.

Quality:
It's a BOSS. I don't really think I need to say any more.

Value:
Only flaw here is that if you're using it with the 9 volt batteries, they eat 'em up unless you unplug the battery after every time you're done using it. But if you're running through a power pack, you're good to go.

Desirability:
If you see someone stomping this to get their sound, you're gonna want one. I doubt anyone's gonna see it on stage, but it's a pedal.

Sound:
Absolutely beyond belief. If you've ever played through a real Fender reverb amp, you know how good they sound.

Ease of Use:
You can replicate any sound, just turn a few knobs and you're there. As an added bonus, it's a footswitch, which means you don't have to run over to your amp to turn it on.

Support:
Can't say. I've never had to deal with BOSS because the quality is so good.

Overall:
I've never used a better reverb pedal. It sounds superb and holds up through some serious abuse.
