"Hot Little Amp"

Overall: 3.5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
I was looking for a super clean sound for jazz, that would dirty up a little when pushed so I could also use it foe electric blues. This amp is everything. I bought a good reverb pedal for about $100 and I was away. At first I worried that 5 watts just wouldn't be enough, that the amp would wind up unused. But I was wrong. This is a loud 5 watts and it is easy to mic it, or run a line out, to get that great sound t any volume. I love the dial that let's me go from British to American tones and all the inbetweens. I must admit that I quickly found my favourite and left it there. This is a professional's amp. It delivers a pro sound and is probably wasted in the hands of a beginner. Like most pro tube amps it can be unforgiving. Tis can be good though. It forces the player to play clean and tidy. Any flams and misses come through loud and clear. In a confident hand with a clean technique the amp sings. I love it.
