Sound:
A very professional warm sounding preamp.The vacuum tube plate voltage is at 250 volts dc.Most tube preamps use too low a plate voltage resulting in poor audio. This preamp works great on my condenser and ribbon mics. Terrific on vocals and accoustic instruments.

Love the sound for vocals and some instruments. My favorite combo is the 220 w/ a CAD E300 mic. Would be nice to have better fine control of the gain, though.
