overall i love this amp. it didnt break the bank, its plenty loud, has a crisp sound and the VTC is awesome, its a good heavy amp and im sure it will stand the tests of time.. i highly recommend this amp for a backup, or a main amp. it will do the job for any type of music...
Sound
This head has really good sound. especial the VTC. i was able to dial in my sound with no problems. For a 100 watts this thing can get loud. i had no problem being loud enough.. i think this amp would also make a great recording amp. the sounds are clean and crisp and as heavy as you want it.
Features
not a lot of features here. pretty basic. im really glad it did come with a footswitch. the amp does have some on board effects like reverb, chorus, ect. all in all for the price you cant go wrong..
Ease of Use
extremely ease to use. no manual needed. if you cant figure it out then you have no business playing guitar..
Quality
this thing is heavy. although the knobs feel a bit flimsy i don't see any reason this thing couldn't take a beating. only time will tell
Value
GREAT VALUE.. a good back up amp for the price and or a recording amp. for a $160+ you cant go wrong
Manufacturer Support
havent needed it.. i own many behringer products and i have never once had a problem with any thing i have purchased..
The Wow Factor
this amp is not the sexiest but it does the job and does it well. like i said before. its basic but not to basic. you will get what you need and a little extra

"Reppin' Behringer since day one.."

Overall: 4.5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
I purchased this item recently, although not from zzounds.com, I found the same deal.. Now, I have owned multiple Behringer products, which i did purchase from zzounds.com. The discontinued V-tone head and the BG412H Cabinet. And I dont know why people hate so much on Behringer, all the products have been legit. I've never had a problem..
Sound
With all the effects it has, you can get any sound you want out of it really. The second overdrive with the VTC is br00tal. Pinch Harmonics haven't been easier. I have it hooked up to the JCA12S cabinet. It's only a 1X12 speaker but it handles pretty close to what the VT100fxh can push.
Features
They could step up their effects/volume knob to metal gears.. Gotta be some what careful with the plastic. Other then that, the "rhino lining" on the outside of the head and the metal footswitch(included) is quite the upgrade.
Ease of Use
I went with the JCA12S cab. It fits perfect on top and easy hook up.. I mean, it's only one cable.. From previously owning the V-tone head i found it easy to use and the sound i wanted.
Quality
Very durable. It's going to be used at a lot of shows.
Value
I studied many amp heads before purchasing this item. Best value of all.
Manufacturer Support
Now i put a three stars because i haven't had to find out, and because it wouldn't let me leave it blank. But like i said, I have never had a problem and I'm four years running with the v-tone head and BG412H cab. All products come with a one year Behringer warranty. So whats there to lose.
The Wow Factor
Looks mean, and very durable. One of a kind.

"couldn't handle a gig"

Overall: 4 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
I've had this amp for just over 6 months and bought it primarily to amplify my line 6 pod hd500. I ended up using the vt100fxh on its own as the sojnd and effects were often all I needed. Until the last gig. Everything was fine until I went to the solo on the firdt track and the amp just cut out. No warning. Just a burned out smell and silence. I have never had equipment fail on stage in 30 years of gigging until now.

Complete garbage for a real musician. Might be good for a beginner. Overall zzounds is a great company and this is not their fault. They should jump on the band wagon with local retailers across the country and kick behringer and bugera and their distributor who sucks also from what local retailers have told me. They are very dishonest about the true quality of their products.
Sound
Sounded good till it fried out the 4th day I played it.
Features
Comes with foot switch and has a effects loop that worked well with my behringer eq.
Ease of Use
Was easy to use
Quality
Total garbage. I bought it for a back up for my bugera tube amp. So I didn't have to drag my tube head to practice. My bugera head is making a poping sound and if it blows also I will make a point to convince people never to buy any of this companies products again.
Value
164 dollars what do you expect.
Manufacturer Support
Begringer has decent customer relations because they have been selling us junk for years and every one they pay back there's probably two or three people that get the shaft. I'm buying american products from here on out its worth the extra money.
The Wow Factor
Looked good and light weight
