5 out of 10Feature:
Has a lot of features. Haven't had a chance to use the fx yet.
Sadly, it didn't have reverse crossfaders, and everything on it seemed basic
Quality:
Everything seemed... BLEH! I was surprised that the crossfader was smooth and able to take a beating!
Compared to a 100 dollar numark I bought, this has better quality
Value:
Pretty cheap!
Desirability:
Too many channels. If you were serious about music and needed 7 channels, why the hell would you by this cheap mixer?
Sound:
I've had a crappy Numark, and this sounds by far, the best. Compared with Rane or Ecler mixers, this sucks.
Ease of Use:
I just plugged it in, and started to mix.
Support:
Don't know
Overall:
The reason this scored high was because I bought this mixer for 50 bucks!

7 out of 10Feature:
The features are ok, enough to get me through my dances with no hassle.
Quality:
Great quality, no problems I can't handle.
Value:
Great price for a Great product.
Sound:
As far as mixers go, I've never had more crisp sound from my EV SX500's. I mean I used 2 other Gemini's before this and this by far is the best!
Ease of Use:
Its been easy to use for myself, but then again I also have used both a 32 and 40 channel Allen & Heath board.
Support:
Supports not bad.
Overall:
Like I said before, the best mixer I've had by far.

10 out of 10Feature:
Great features; beat counter, sound enhancer, etc
best for the money
Quality:
Pretty well made, tough but the faders are too soft, but work well
Value:
Great value
a+
Desirability:
Great, looks awesome
Sound:
Pretty good sound, however, i agree that there is a little zzzz noise at no volume.... barely noticable
Ease of Use:
Very easy to use, only consulted instructions once

1 out of 10Feature:
The ideas behind this mixer are great but they do not work the way that was promised. The Beat counter does work in any settings and I have to use the counter on my cd player.(Not the way to go!)
Quality:
The sliders are to light and not protected form dust and dirt. As a Smoker the hassel of cleaning and watching every speck of dirt on this mixer is horrible. While Moible DJing I had a drink spilt on my peavey mixer. With a can of compressed air i was back playing in a matter of seconds. This would never happen when with a flashlight I can see the elecetic boards inside.
Value:
Really cheap if you don't care how it works or how it sounds.
Sound:
Cross fader is useless. When fully fadded to one channel you can still hear noise off of the other side of the fadder no madder which channel is selected. Coming off a peavey mixer that was 10+ years old and a newer gemini I am very disapointed in Behringer and have now decided to try to trade it in.
Overall:
Looking for somthing better after the 3rd time i used it.

1 out of 10Feature:
The features could be nice, if they really do what they say...
Value:
The price is nice, but the mixer isn't
Sound:
Noisy, the mics can't be turn down, can listen all channels even at 0 gain....
Overall:
There's a very lousy hiss noise even at 0/10... I can hear all the channels at all times. The gain... hmmm if there

2 out of 10Feature:
Gains and EQ worked well. The EQ kills were a nice toy, made for some interesting effects. The effects loop, however, was utterly useless. The effects loops signal is taken at the PFL section. The only way to use it is to set the PFL switch on the channels. Doing this effectively bypassess the crossfader. The crossfader becomes useless and you have to manually use the individual channel faders.
Quality:
I've seen worse.
Value:
This mixer wasn't worth the cheap price. The price was cheap, and so was the mixer.
Sound:
Sound on this unit was horrible. There was a noticeable hiss when I was using this mixer. Lots of crosstalk between the faders. Even when the crossfader was fully assigned to the 2nd channel I could still hear the CD playing on the first channel.

1 out of 10Feature:
Great ideas, POOR results. The BPM counter is way out. Too many problems to list.
Sound:
WOW, I didn't think anyone would make a mixer of this quality any more!!! Worst I've ever used. Behringer failed miserably trying to improve on the older VX1000 model.
Overall:
Bought it and sold it for next to nothing. "you get what you pay for certainly is true here.

1 out of 10Feature:
On paper the features are great. Key among them is the multiple mic inputs. The problem is that the mic volume knobs don't cut the mic's off. Even with the mic volume knobs at 0/10, the mic signal comes through loud and clear. You can cut the mic by depressing the mic mute button. However, the problem is that if you're running the board maxed out as described above, the lowest possible volume still feeds back. The only way I can use a mic with this board is to use a wireless because it has it's own volume.
Quality:
Quality and design are really bad. Some of the problems may stem from the fact that the power source on this mixer is internal. The noise-free Behringer mixers I own all have external power supplie and this seems to work better. Also, I jam my fingers every time you try to disconnect the XLR outs on the back of the overly-recessed rear panel.
Value:
If someone wanted to hand me one of these mixers for free, I wouldn't waste the energy it takes to reach out and grab it.
Desirability:
Ugly. The BPM counter lights are ugly. They are using dim incandescent lights that don't look very sharp. In a day and age where companies such as Denon and Numark are using super bright, super sharp LED's, Behringer could have done better.
Sound:
Very noisy. There's a very loud hiss that is present with only this mixer (I own a bunch of others). It's so bad, that I can't turn my powered speakers up past 1/2 way or the hiss is just too embarassing. This mixer has no headroom whatsoever. I have to run it with the gains at 10/10, the channel faders at 9/10 and the master at 3/4 before it's danceable volume.
Support:
I haven't dealt with Behringer regarding this mixer, but I have tried to get service out of them for my DX-1000 and it wasn't pleasant. They have a North American division so you don't have to call Germany, but just because they speak English doesn't mean they're going to understand what you're saying.
Overall:
I own 4 Behringer (1202, DX-1000, 2642 and VMX-1000) mixers. This is the last thing I'll ever buy from them. Sorry, Uli.
