Sound:
Great sound shaping to this thing - I do a lot of old school '70's style volume swells on guitar, and it's cool not to work my Ernie Ball Volume pedal to death. The sensitivity and attack knobs work like a charm & once you familiarize yourself with it (taking a clue from the instruction sheet as to what might NOT sound good for certain playing styles, etc.), you can do all kinds of slow Fleetwood-Mac style swells to quick, violin-sticcato sounds (with a delay after it, think 'Cathedral' by Van Halen)...truly cool IMHO.
Feature:
As stated above, the attack knob determines how slow or fast the volume swell occurs, and the sensitivity knob sets how quickly it resumes to attack mode (a good idea I found is to first set the knob at around 9:00 - maybe even 8:30ish!)...a word of caution; setting both the knobs all the way counterclockwise will render the effect useless, and, as stated above, the instructon sheet warns you about that.
Ease of Use:
Super easy...2 knobs, that's it. This pedal is really a way to give your foot & volume pedal a break, but the cool thing about this puppy is that you can play SO MUCH FASTER and still have all your notes swelled depending on technique...and, as with ALL effects, if you suck, then your sounds will suck. Cutting your sustain off between notes really helps to get the most out of this effect; long steady notes won't allow the effect to take place with each & every note; the first attack is swelled, then it's like-your-volume-pedal-stays-down type effect.
Quality:
Well, in the context of Behringer, it's pretty good; not exactly tank-tough like a Boss pedal would be, but maybe not as cheap & plastic as, maybe per se, Danelectro pedals; I dunno; the jury's wary on this one, but based on my gut feeling and the fact that my Behringer Compressor/Sustainer pedal hasn't crapped on me yet, I'm giving it a good rating.
Value:
Awesome value for $29.99 - again, there's some neat stuff you can do with this thing - I would replace it easily if lost, stolen or broken.
Manufacturer Support:
Haven't needed it yet.
The Wow Factor:
The deep khaki color ROCKS! It doesn't squirt out an ugly ass pastel or anything like that; fits in real fine with my 22 other stompboxes.
Sexy? Well, no, but cute enough to get with, if you know what I mean;-)! The blue LED is the icing on this cupcake!
Overall:
Super satisfied; I bought it out of a weird curiosity, and now I find myself doing things I hadn't of thought of before...it definitely meets my musical goals; surpasses them, really! Again, a great addition to any pedalboard; try a little delay/echo for super cool rhythymic picking styles & feel your way around the notes; you'll be glad you did!

Sound:
The sound is very good. It's an automatic volume pedal. It's a very sensitive little effect. Great for slow ambient music which I love. I'm using it with a cheap acoustic guitar and it sounds awesome: The sound is addicting. I play ambient music on the streets of Chicago with a little amp that has a looper, and sometimes I bring a pedal out there too. Probably be wary of using this in a very professional situation: obviously this product has a limited life given the materials used. This is not such a bad thing for $20 bucks though. I wish that the effect was a bit more consistent - although an effect like this shows you whether you have an even picking touch or not.
Feature:
What the knobs do is a bit ambiguous. Just try to find the place where the knobs have the most effect, since this is a subtle effect.
Ease of Use:
It's easy to use. Plug and play. Unless you are obsessed with distortion and playing really loud (which will complete obliterate the effect), there is no learning curve.
Quality:
I'm saying "9" because obviously for $20 this pedal is made out of cheap materials! But it's worth it. Maybe I'll review this again in a couple years to let everyone know if it's still working.
Value:
a volume pedal would be quite a bit more useful than this obviously for a lot of things, and you can find these for as cheap as $10 bucks. But if you want a convenient automatic volume pedal, this is a pretty good value.
Manufacturer Support:
N/A so far
The Wow Factor:
This pedal is super sexy because it's the cheapest gear ever! It's HOT like drinking PBR and wearing torn jeans. Or something
Overall:
overall I'm tired of filling in this boxes and I've said enough.

Sound:
The sound itself is fine. The pedal's adjustment knobs only make any difference in the effect in the first 1/8th of an inch of rotation of the sensitivity knob, and the last 1/16th of an inch on the attack knob. Other than setting the pedal in those two ranges, it has no effect and therefore does not change the sound at all.
The swell effect would be great if it were truly adjustable. I'm a fairly skilled guitarist with about 30 years of experience and I hate to say it, but this pedal was not worth the money I paid (and I got it at a discount!)
Feature:
I wish the pedal was actually able to be adjusted rather than simply having knobs that are pretty much only there for decoration.
Ease of Use:
It was very easy to use! However, it produces no real effect, so ease of use becomes pointless.
Quality:
The actual construction of the pedal seemed fairly durable, but since the advertised effect only functions in one setting, it's not what I would call a quality item.
Value:
I give the value a 5 simply because, had it worked it definitely WOULD have been worth what I paid. Since it doesn't, it obviously is not.
Manufacturer Support:
I contacted Behringer's tech support department and warranty service departments to see what they would or could do to help me with the pedal. Their answer was I should take it back to the place of purchase and return or exchange it. I quote the tech support agent, "Huh. Sounds defective. Take it back."
Not very helpful.
The Wow Factor:
This is not a pedal that would stand out and scream "BUY ONE!" Had it been fully functional it would definitely be a nice addition to an arsenal for the stage, though.
Overall:
I am not satisfied at all yet with this pedal, therefore I likely won't ever be unless I get one that functions as advertised.
