Sound: This is my first experience with a reverb pedal. All of my other amplifiers have had built in reverb, so I can't comment on how other pedals sound as this is the only one I've used. However, I would say I really like the reverb this pedal imparts to my Blackstar HT-5. I have several other very nice amps with built in reverb and I would say this pedal compares nicely. It's a copy of the Line 6 Verbzilla and I'm impressed with the transparent sound quality and the lushness of the reverb it imparts. One really cool feature is the "space" setting which is like the "octo" setting on the Verbzilla. It's a really neat, singing reverb effect that adds very nicely to quiet ethereal parts. It's just an added bonus to a very nice pedal. I think my amps reverbs may sound slightly better, but in this application this pedal really shines for the money. Feature: Tons of reverbs to choose from, so you should have no trouble dialing in exactly what you like. I like spring, plate and hall and they are all there. The 63 spring really sounds comparable to my Cyber-Twin's reverb. My only complaint would be that the dial to select the reverbs is very tiny and the labeling is not really clear, so fiddling with the pedal on a dark stage could be problematic unless you pick one verb and stick with it through your entire set list. I can't think of any additional features the thing could have had, it's pretty well chock full of features. Ease of Use: Very easy to use. I have it running in my effects loop and it's very transparent. This would have gotten a 10 had it not been for the small, hard to read verb setting nob and the silly battery compartment access (seems cheap and easy to break if you're running on batteries). One comment on the battery usage. I'm not a big pedal user (I've always used a midi interface with my Cyber-Twin and the built-in effects or my Line 6 amps effects or a multi-effects unit) but this thing sucks down the juice on batteries. I can barely run it for 30 minutes before the low battery light starts flashing. If you're going to use this thing, get an adapter or buy stock in Duracell/Energizer! Quality: Fairly well built and seems like it would stand up to my intended usage. There are many pedals out there that are far more heavy duty than this one, so if you're planning on beating the thing up, buy something else. If you're going to turn it on and basically leave it sit near the amp, it's put together just fine. This thing is not built like a tank like some other more expensive pedals are. This is definitely a case of you get what you pay for. Value: I don't think I would have been happier with the sound of any other pedal at this price range. Sure I could have purchased a pedal that had a "purer" tone, but this thing does everything it is supposed to quite well. Manufacturer Support: This is N/A for me as I haven't used support yet. I bet I'd be better served by looking online for answers to questions. Again, I didn't invest a lot of money in this pedal, so any support I could get would be a welcome bonus. I couldn't select N/A, so that's why I picked "6". The Wow Factor: Any Behringer pedal is not what I would describe as "sexy". It is a tool and is designed as such. It does not have the "style" of say a Hardwire pedal or one of the other boutique pedals with fancy colors and graphics. My equipment is a tool, so it doesn't have to look that sexy to appeal to me. An amp on the other hand better look and SOUND cool. Pedals, no big deal if they are generic or boring looking. Overall: I believe this pedal will serve me for the foreseeable future and I would buy another one if this one crapped out on me. I could buy 3 of these things for the price of one boutique reverb pedal. I'm satisfied with this product and would give other Behringer pedals a look should the need arise.

Overall: While no reverb setting or features excels as 4 to 5 star performers, I liked the character of the sounds- a bit lo-fi but not necessarily muddy, while also being 24-bit with some pleasant detail and resolution to sounds. I'm coming to like the switch that lets me keep trails to the sounds or not. (It's not further adjustible.) My main reverb interest was spring reverb, and this provides two: a general setting and a '63 Fender styled sound. I like both of these settings, and they almost merit 4 stars to me, easily 3 to 3 1/2 stars to both. If you need or want top-notch, pro studio reverbs, they don't exist here, nor should they be expected to; competitors abound in the rack mounted and tabletop or (boutique/fancy/elite) brands of fine reverbs, many for as little as $100. This pedal should be heard and tried first- you may find the knobs too close together for your taste, and generally the flimsy, weak point of Behringer pedals. (I have one too-tight knob that's almost a refreshing change from flimsy yet easy to adjust controls.) Don't expect a big Wow Factor, but stay open to perhaps a pleasant surprise- or several- without taking the great price and value into account. It's a feature-rich pedal, but it doesn't aspire to Swiss Army knife every need or wish. I'd buy another, especially for a dual mono effect chain.

Sound: I'm 67 yrs old and have been playing since the late 50's. This reverb unit is very impressive, it sounds very much like the modes indicate. The spring reverb tank simulations are spot on in my opinion. The Plate sim is very good as well. The Space mode is neat and fun to play with, but my favorite is the Cave mode, it really sounds like a huge closed in space. The Echo mode is useful too. Feature: Battery only last's a few hours! AC Power Supply is a must have for this device. Ease of Use: You can get almost any reverb sound you want by tweaking the settings and changing the Mode. Hard to believe that all that sound is coming from this tiny blue box! Quality: Plastic case, miniature momentary switch for "bypass mode". Wouldn't trust it for doing Gigs, but it is great for home use and jamming with friends. Value: One of the best deals out there for quality sound. The Wow Factor: Heard it demoed on Youtube and wanted one right away. I already had the Behringer Echo Machine, and this rounds it out! Overall: If it dies or is stolen I would buy another one. Great reverb for a small price.
