"So cheap?! So versatile?!! GO BUY IT !"

Overall: 4.5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
Becouse of the
Sound
Some complain about it being thin, cheap, which for the price tag wouldn't be too hard to believe. !! BUT !!, there are a few things you can do, that are not obvious at first, but can help you get amaizing stuff out of it. Ie if you want more control over ER in the reverb department, you could simply use combi/parallel, using two Gold plates end tweak it to your likings. This way you get double the control over ERs... Another one is control over ER diffusion. Simply use serial config but be careful which reverb you choose as the last one. By the way, iMHO, using only EQ and reverb you can get any landscape you want. Ever listened to arca, sigur ros or Informations "biomekano"? :)
Features
Read that 'sound' part? Just don't let me start with delay section, as here is where you can use your production skilz to great extent (doubling,...)
Ease of Use
If you know what decay and ER are, it isn't much of a trouble. If you've seen Virtualizer or even other FX units you won't even look at the manual.
Quality
Behringer quality, i think, is famous everywhere. If it dies, it's dead. It can happen any minute - my Behringer mixer died on a live show. How NOTcool is that?! And also the knobs - am, be gentle, maybe?
Value
Man, the versatility you get for 200 bucks?!! I don't care if it's crappy built, i don't want FX unit to limit me... For 200 bucks, that is.
Manufacturer Support
Not yet.
The Wow Factor
I got it, thinking of another one as a dedicated Delay or ER generator unit.

"One of the best, not for the price, but one of the best, PERIOD."

Overall: 5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
This is a keeper. I probably won't be swayed to buy even an expensive Lexicon gear, even when I collected enough money... except maybe for a 960L, which to me is still the best effects processor in the world.
Sound
Sounds much better than similar priced Lexicon low-end series. With proper tweaking of the comprehensive parameters, its most elaborate V-Verb algorithm in particular offers virtually limitless possibilities. I was even able to replicate my favorite Lexicon PCM-series studio reverbs, particularly the highly effective yet subtle Hall effects with smoooooth reverb tails. For the price, nothing beats it. At double/triple its price, probably only a handful can. In my experience, only the venerable Lexicon surround processor beats it to the dust. But at how many times the price...
Features
The most important feature to me is the comprehensive set of effects editing parameters. And the fact that this is a REVERB MODELER, and excels at what it does best without trying so hard to do everything else equally well (what other budget effects processors tend to do, and end up not doing great at anything at all). This is a focused product, with REVERB as the main focus of its feature set.
Ease of Use
This has probably the easiest-to-use user interfaces on an effects processor, Lexicon's latest PCM96 included. The LCD UI is analogous to a computer operating system with multiple tabs to manage the plethora of settings... here they call it "pages". And the parameters on each page are mapped (logically and graphically on the LCD) into 4 control knobs on the faceplate. How more intuitive can that get?
Quality
Surprisingly, this unit doesn't look or feel cheap at all. Even given the affordable price. Without knowing what it really costs, you'd think it's a much more expensive piece of equipment. My friends did.
Value
Of all the home studio equipment I own, this is probably the best bang for the buck. Even compared to other Behringer stuff that I own.
Manufacturer Support
Never needed to contact them. So to be fair, I'd give them a 10, unless in the future I experience something bad.
The Wow Factor
This product has an elegant appeal to it. The front panel is well laid-out. And the large LCD just screams high-tech.

"Behringer V-VERB is a "high end" sounding unit. Man was I surprised. Congrats Behringer! I'm looking forward to even a higher e"

Sound
I can not believe how good the V-VERB sounds! After reading some old reviews I found on the net (Sound-On-Sound), I thought I'd check one out. Heck for $150 USD, why not. I currently own two Lexicon PCM91s and a Lexicon MPX500. The V-VERB blows away the MPX500. I never use the MPX500. I should of sold it years ago. The V-VERB come "REAL" close to the PCM91 sound! I can not believe I have not heard more about these! It also has TWO stereo units! You are essentially getting two units. I hear NO noise at all. Even the analog connections sound great. It has AES/EBU and optical S/PDIF plus balanced + unbalanced in/outs! It appears they sampled some of the Lexicon and others for these algorithms... very dense. The ambient I believe is from the Lexicon 960. Its very useable for achieving that open room sound without adding long reverb tails. Speaking of tail. This unit rolls of VERY nicey on the tails. Just like my PCM91s
Features
It had a LOT of control. The V-VERB algorithm has the most parameters. VERY nice. It also can produce Chorus and Delay ect... Although these are nice additions, especially since you have two unit in one, but the reverbs alone is WELL worth the price.
Ease of Use
Very easy to use.
Quality
Appears to be bulit well
Value
$150 !!! What the.... I just ordered three more! Damn, I may order more and dedicate just for live use.
Manufacturer Support
I don;t know, I have only had it for a week.
The Wow Factor
As I mentioned, I ordered three more !
