Feature:
Has the same features as consoles costing 6 times as much. However, it is taking the manufacturer aver 3 weeks to replace my original board (which arrived with one bad eq gain). I've lost almost 5 thousand dollars in business. This board is NOT for professionals who need to rely on it working 100% of the time. If you're going to buy this board because you can't afford a pro board, you'd better buy 2 of them!

Quality:
Mine was received imperfect. I wish I'd waited for the Toft ATBs to be released.

Value:
Don't buy this board. It will let you down, and so will the folks at Behringer!

Desirability:
As soon as I get a real board (another month or so), I'm taking lighter fluid and a match to my MX9000 and posting the video on UTube!

Sound:
The sound ain't bad. Certainly more corsstalk than with a good quality board (like the Ghost LE or Toft ATB... i.e. you can hear sound when the gains are turned up, even if all inputs are muted). I would describe the overall sound as "brassy" and "harsh"

Ease of Use:
The product is easy to use if you know what you're doing. I've done sound for everyone from Beck to Nirvana to Tiny Tim. I was using it an hour after opening the box. However, to get a good sound, you'd better have a good mic (I like Neumann and B.L.U.E mics) and a world class pre-amp (I use a UA LA-610)

Support:
They talk a good game, but I am in Nashville and the warehouse is in Memphis. I could have had a replacement in 24 hours, but it's 3 weeks ago today and I am still waiting... and I expect the replacement to have something wrong with it.

Overall:
Any piece of gear that does not work 100% properly, backed up by a company that doesn't take care of it's customers IMMEDIATELY is worthless to a professional.

Feature:
The most useful is the 24 'B' tracks for mixdown and additional recording capacity to my computer.

Quality:
I had an IC go bad in the power supply but for all the 7 years I've had my boardit's been good to go!

Value:
the comparable Mackie or Allen and Heath boards are no less than 300% more expensive at $3900, Vs $1300 for not much more.

Desirability:
the board is Practical!! Period! You get what you need!! If it was the same price as a Mackie I would have bought a Mackie. It's value is in ith Price to Value ratio. That Macke,Tascam, Allen-Heath, Soundcraft nor anyone ELSE can match..

Sound:
excellent and quiet board I record mostly midi with mix of live instruments. this board fill the bill for everything I wanted and allows me 16 tracks of didital mixdown and could have 24 if I would use Y cords which I refuse to do.. Being able to monitor the levels coming back from the recording device is also a plus using a single button and not having to look away from the board.

Ease of Use:
getting used to the routing is VERY condusing and the manual is nearly useless for project studio operation and is geared mainly for Live usage for Front of house mixing.

Support:
I contacted the company when my power supply went bad and they were on it in a flash. unfortunately I had to take the board as well as the power supply to the shop and that WAS a hassle because that board is no easy task to move nor even pack up!!

Overall:
My board is stationary and rarely EVER moves. I can't speak to roadability. BUT when it's time to replace it. I'll replace it with 2 MX9000's ( or a slightly used SSL if I hit the lottery)

Feature:
The levels on every channel are great. If you are getting some weird interference it makes it very easy to locate without having to go threw every single channel.

Quality:
Iv heard some people bad mouthing BEHRINGER.... This is bull crap how can you talk crap about a company that can make awsome products and sell them at a quarter of what they could be sold for... So far I have this mixer, a behringer V-ampire 120w gutar amp, and a wah wah pedel. The quality is all there but the price is the only thing that would make you think otherwize... but dont base your opinion on how cheap somthing is.

Value:
I would give this a 15 if it would let me... Behringer always blows other companys out of the water.

Desirability:
Well, I saw this in gutar world and was playing around with it and about 2 weeks later I ordered it... If you got the money I HIGHLY recomend this.

Sound:
Sound is great, I have used other "higher-end" mixers before that cost about 4x as much but I would have to say this board is the best for sound. Absolutly no static awsome for recording and sending to a PA.

Ease of Use:
For a mixing board its very stright forward everything is labled.

Support:
I emailed them once for some info on the guitar amp and they got back to me within a few hours...

Overall:
F'IN FANTASTIC.

Feature:
A/B on the channels, 8 subs. The doubling up of the AUX sends was a bit dissappointing. The led meters are definetly a plus at this price but...

Quality:
I cannot warn you enough away from Behringer products. I had this board for 3 months in an air conditioned, smoke free, AC line conditioned studio. It suddenly and dramatically fried, blowing out one of my monitors with it. Thank god I hadn't sold my 5 year old Mackie yet, which is still going strong. This was in the same period two other Behringer products died, an ADA8000 and a Virtualizer Pro. Every other piece of equipment I have ever bought, going back to 1987, is still working in my studio, even an old GP8 and an Effectron Jr. Behringer is absolute crap.

Value:
A product that doesnt work is of course devoid of value.

Desirability:
No you don't. I know the price looks enticing. But trust me, hunker down and buy a smaller mixer from a real audio company. I would consider boycotting stores that sell Behringer except that my store has gone %100 out of its way to rectify this problem.

Sound:
excellent eq, compared to the mackie it replaced. Fairly quiet. Decent headroom. sliders are nice and smooth.

Ease of Use:
If you know mixers you know how to use them. Number of main outs is nice.

Support:
I bought an extended warranty on this board, because I knew up front Behringers product quality issues. behringer refuses to work with my warranty company. I am told I have to ship this 200 lb pig on my own dollar half way across the country, where no doubt they will determine that the problem is soemhow my fault, and charge me repair and shipping. They advertise a repair/replace program at Music dealers. I called 5 stores that sell Behringer in my area, listed as being members.. none of them had ever heard of it. DO NOT BUY THIS!

Overall:
Bad bad bad. I am not a person who got the one bad one. I and my friends have all had problems with anything from behringer bigger than a direct box. Run away.

Feature:
The Bridge meter is a BIG plus! - I do however wish it came with the BNC lights.

Quality:
I love this board, I've had it and use it daily for over 5 years and has never failed me.

Value:
This price is a steal

Desirability:
I'm the envy of all my friends with 4 tracks.. Bigger is better

Sound:
Very clean to me... I suppose the mackies and other higher end and higher priced boards may be cleaner, but for my projects they are perfect.

Ease of Use:
good documentation made it a breeze to hook-up

Support:
Never had to ask for support. I did email behringer to ask where in the flip to get the BNC lights and they pointed me in the right direction via email. (the next day i got an answer)

Overall:
Very satisfied with my purchase. I've recorded a zillion projects with it.

Feature:
Read the manual....Mix B has EQ and you can hear channel 1-24 and 25-48 at the same time. It's the real deal......seems like a wider sound than going directly into DAW.

Quality:
If Behringer is so questionable and Mackie 8-bus is so much better, then go to the Mackie forum and read about their faulty ribbon cables......they're defective...even after years of manufacturing, they still have problems with them.....no matter what revision of the cables you try. Plus you get the built in meter....looks sweet.

Value:
Read the manual and features......no brainer.

Desirability:
It's not an SSL so don't try to make it something it isn't. Accept it for a great value with a ton of featues with good to (at times) great sound. I can't wait for the MX10000!

Sound:
Smooth. Solid tight sound....just watch the gain and you'll be fine. You can even use the EQ.

Ease of Use:
You may have to review certain parts of the manual a few times before it makes sense, but it's in their and there are plenty of configurations for any setup.

Support:
Bothell, Washington----Just down the street from Mackie so they can quickly replicate Mackie's next best thing. Call them and as them anything....like someone else mentioned....humans actual answer the phone.

Overall:
Solid........Behringer isn't going away, they will only get better....so you shouldn't be ashamed or embarassed if you have Behringer eqipment in your rack....you should be proud of it.

Feature:
I Like the B buss again perfect in a recording studio situation for those of us that use a multitrack deck

Quality:
I got lucky I purchased my MX-9000 April 2005 for $999 and for the price this piece of gear is built solid and a built in meter bridge? for that price? Behringer rocks How about a 32 channel version of one of these or better yet how about a companion monitor board for the MX 9000 or a 9000 version with 8 Physical sends pre post selectable for the ones that don't require the B buss ...On the MX 9000 need a 24x8x2 mixer and on a budget beginer or pro level you'll be Very happy with this mixer Oh if touring get a road case for it and that should keep your value on your MX-9000

Value:
Got alot of mixer for the money

Desirability:
If your a beginner to multichannel mixing in the studio or live this is one dynomite tool to learn Pro Mixing you master this board you'll be able to run the Giants at the big National level

Sound:
I bought mine mostly for recording and tried some multitrack with it noise? not even an issue the preamps sound prety damned good

Ease of Use:
no problam here every mixer has it's feel as far as use and this one easy very easy to adapt to.

Support:
Haven't needed it yet I have some other Behringer products havn't needed support on those either at least not yet If you happen to lose your manual(s) no sweat log on at behringers website and download then I'm sure your dealer and hook u up My oppinion! for the ones on a tight budget seeking performance.. Try this board out and lets hear your kudo's

Overall:
The only way I'll replace my MX 9000 is if it self destructed or if a bigger version of this mixer was made availible for the right price as a broadcast/recording engineer (yes done some live sound too) I'll say it again great mixer for the price tag

Feature:
All the features that you would expect in a mid to upper level recording mixer are there

Quality:
I have had absolutely no problems, no failures, no broken parts....

Value:
This mixer is comparable to other mixers that cost a lot more. Like I mentioned earlier, My MX 8000 replaced a $10,000 mixer and does a better job

Desirability:
I had experience with other Behringer gear, and also a friends MX8000, and I knew that was the mixer I wanted. I have owned, and still own other brands, but my MX8000 is the main mixer in my studio. By the way, I use a different Behringer mixer for all of my live shows now too. It has spent over two years on the road with no problems

Sound:
I recorded the first half of my last CD on a mixer that cost over $10,000 new, and the second half on the Behringer MX8000 (an earlier version of the MX 9000)The recording done with the Behringer had a better sound quality and was noticeably quieter.

Support:
I have had good support from thier website downloading specs and manuals for other gear that Behringer makes. No repairs have been needed

Overall:
If something happened to my mixer, I would definetly want to get another one

Many loose and missing screws, 1 bad switch, top face plate is bowed. I chose to repair the unit myself instead of returning. This console should last forever with reasonable care.

Value:
Even with the loose and missing screws, this is a fine console and I am proud to have it.

Desirability:
With all the leds lighting up, the "WOW" factor is pretty impressive in my small studio.

Sound:
Quiet

Support:
No support required.

Very good build.

Value:
Got mine for $1050 through a local retailer.

Sound:
Very clean sound, lots of headroom.

I wish they made a 32 channel version with 8 aux sends.
