Individual User Ratings

Feature:
It came with a free footswitch for the channel and effects which is great and is the only amp i have bought that came with a free footswitch. Although, you have to time yourself to press the pedal a split second before it is actually called for as there is a short delay, as with many amps.

Quality:
This amp is built very tough and I have knocked it around quite a bit. I have heard of the knobs breaking off and in fact one of my friends has the same amp with that problem. It hasn't happened to me but I figure just use some common sense and watch the knobs when you walk through a door with it. I have also heard of the computer dying or something. People claim that it is because they left it plugged in all the time when not using it. I do that and I have not experienced this, and neither have other people I know who have it, which leads me to assume it may just be from a little rough handling possibly or maybe power surging. As far is I know, this thing is made in Germany, enough said.

Value:
Overall, this is one of the best deals i think you can get for an amp this price, just like all behringer products it is big bang for your buck. I know I have spent a lot of time telling you the limitations, but like I said at the beginning with a little practice and two minutes with a manual you will get it in no time, and you can get some great sounds out of it!

Desirability:
It is a generic black tolex combo amp with no particularly outstanding visual features, but it does sound pretty good!

Sound:
My old amp bought the farm about a year ago, and I didn't have the cash to buy a thousand dollar amp, I went looking for a good deal and found this amp, and let me say that with a little work, you can get this amp to sound pretty good. I have owned this amp for little over a year now and with a little bit of practice you can dial in what you need. I play a lot of rock and blues and use a gibson les paul with this amp, and they sound pretty good together. For the most part I stick with the lead channel, with the low on 5-7, mid on 5-6 and the high on 9-10 or else it tends to have a lower sound. It sounds great for that blues/rock sound for songs by zz top and such, but doesn't really have the crunch of maybe the stuff slash plays. As for the clean channel I cannot quite put my finger on it but it seems to be lacking somewhere, it is as though it is either too sharp or too muddy and it is hard to find that happy medium in there, and trying to switch in between the clean channel and lead channel in a song is almsot impossible as either the lead channel will have to be insanely loud or the clean channel almost inaudible. That does not matter too me too much because I do not need it really. Overall it has a very good blues or rock sound.

Ease of Use:
This is more or less a complicated amp. there are many things to choose from for both channels, you have the standard equalizer with gain/drive, then you have three output settings which is basically how much volume and gain you want, then you have three amp emulation settings, british amp, flat, or american something like that, then three style settings i guess, with a setting for blues sounds which is great and i love, one that is good for rock, and one labelled california which is really mellow and i don't usually use. This amp has 99 effects settings, but it is more like 30 actual effects, and then about three or four different versions of that one effect maybe slightly mixed with another effect. you can save an effect for each channel of course, and you can change the intensity of an effect with a knob. This is where reading the manual comes in handy. It is not super complicated or anything it will take you two minutes to read, but it has a list of all the effects and their number so you can more quickly find the ones you are looking for. It is cool that they have all these effects and everything but a lot of time their use is very limited, there are many effects i doubt I will ever use, and the effects have very little flexibility, which is kind of frustrating when you need to be able to adjust something specifically, for example you cannot change the speed on things like auto-wah or delay or echo and so on, but you might be able to find one of the several auto-wah variants that is set to a suitable speed. A big thing to consider is that if these effects will suit your needs then good, because this amp is not so good with effect pedals and they will suck the tone right out. There is a "right" way to do it where you have to plug both ends of the pedals into the back of the amp which is a little impractical and still doesn not work too well. This may sound like a deal breaker but you still must remember, there is still 99 options for you too choose from and from several people I know who own this amp, it is mostly all they need. If you are an intermediate player it may seem a little limited, but for the most part it is great.

Support:
Never had to deal with them.

Overall:
Don't get me wrong, I do love this amp, but just saving $50 extra you can buy the v-ampire which is just a little more expensive but has tons more features to mess around with, a lot more effects and amp emulations to choose from, and has digital knobs so that when you record your settings it remembers everything from volume and all your gain and equalizer settings, and doesn't just change what effect you had, it goes back to everything EXACTLY. Instead of numbers on the dial, there is a circle of bulbs around the knobs, and where the light is shows your setting on that knob. You can save a gajillion settings and it comes with a slightly more sophisticated pedal. It may seem complex but the controls are much more intuitive and easier to use in fact than this one. So save just a little more dough and take a quantum leap into the v-ampire, but if not this amp is still an amazingly priced amp from beginners to intermediate.

Feature:
Foot switch is okay but you will notice a delay/break when switching channels. Tuner quite works well. The Amp modes don't do much so I usually stick with Flat/Hi/US. I also find I have my High up near 8-9, my Mid near 4-5 and my Low 4-5 to help with "muddy-ness" or create sound it produces. Though don't get me wrong, for the price this amp is a deal.

Quality:
I bought it Belmished/Resealed and I've owned it for over a year but have never noticed a single problem/dent. I've used it with a few gigs and it's had everything from cigerette ashes to beer dropped on it without an issue.

Value:
For the price it's a good amp, with good features... and those 2 10's produce a good bit of sound.

Desirability:
Nothing cosmetically ellabroate here, just a good simple layout.

Sound:
I've owned and played many different amp's and this beringer is a little above average. It really depends on the type of sound your looking for. I wanted a strong distortion and not muddy but that's what I got here... This amp's saving grace are the effects it comes with, though don't expect 99 different effects, theres really only about 10-15 worth using.

Ease of Use:
Plug and Play, if you like the way it sounds there not much else to do except find the effects that work best for you.

Support:
Never needed it.

Overall:
I'd say try it out, see if the sound and features work for you. Every musician is different as is there style.

Feature:
it came with a foot switch but i wish it had a gain output like marshell but beggers cant be chosers. i love gain so when i saw it had two gain outputs i licked that but then found out that the hot gain is just a louder gain more hum when used, i was disapointed. if you are lokking to pl;ay haveay metal than this isnt the right amp but if your looking for tonality, price, watts and package than go get one. i p-lay an ibanez rg120 on it and it sounds decent.

Quality:
it was made to the standart it was suposed to but it still could of used for dynamics within the effects it self. its loud but at a cost the louder it is the more feedback, hum, buzz it produces. sugg noise gates.

Value:
next to the spider 2 by line 6 its worth every penny like i said if your lokking for tonality as in multple efeects than this is it but if you desire total distotion than look some were else. good efeects modulation terrible for metal.

Desirability:
i liked the price versitility and sound that was untill i herd the spider 6 its the most begginer freindly amp on the market.

Sound:
its a good first combo amp for the price. i use a digitech death metal pedal to produce the ear busting low end crunch it lacks but other than that its good for begginers. suggestions for better sounds, channal 1 turn off AMP/GAIN/CAB swithes tune to preset 99 cab A/B plug in any fx proccesor to produce the low end crunch it lacks. ex px4 pandora on recto setting.

Ease of Use:
its easy to use but really doasant offer a lot of versitility when dialing up effects. there a alot of great tones within it but all the cluster effects sound the same. ex dial in a daley efeect at the max all the other dalay efecst sound the same the only diffence is the dalay time and that dossant differ that much.

Support:
havent dealt with them.

Overall:
untill i can afford a marshell stack. i wouldent buy another one if it got lost or stolen because i found the line6 spider2. i iwouldent buy another combo amp period its great because it features alot of cool stuff for beginers but if your getting good like i wish i was then its nothing to be fretting about. its #1 in beginer guitar playing.

Feature:
It has a lot of good features for the money, but they are only good features when they work. My footswitch doesn't work, I can't change between chanels even using the button on the amp. Some times the effect chanel will magically come on, then go out after a minute or two of playing.

Quality:
Not made well at all, lasted 2 weeks. It does have a good cabinet.

Value:
Would be a good value if it was more reliable.

Desirability:
It looks pretty good

Sound:
Thw sound of this amp is avarage, but good for the price. It's pretty loud for the size, but not very clear when distorted.

Ease of Use:
It is an easy amp to use, but like a said before it needs to work first.

Support:
No help at all.

I guess a couple of weeks, because that is all it lasted.

Feature:
This amp best feature is the 99 effects built in. There are so many to choose from and they all sound great! the foot pedal is also a great touch to switch from channels. It does have a slight delay in the foot pedal as mentioned by some other reviewers. You're not gonna need any effect pedals with this amp.

Quality:
The quality if awesome! This is my first "new" amp Ive bought and it looks sweet. The style of it the way it looks the size all are very good. I wasnt expecting anything better than this amp. and for $199 I surfed the net for a month trying to find the perfect amp for my budget and there was nothing compariable to this amp.

Value:
like i said i searched the net for a month and found nothing compariable to everything this amp offers!

Desirability:
This amp has awesome look, great effects, loud sound.

Sound:
I have this amp for about a month now and the sound is great. I play alot of different styles of music and this amp can crank out some awesome sound. I havent even got to use it to the full volume capacity yet. I've had it up to 7-8 and its LOUD. this amp offers a variety of sound effects which is sweet. cant go wrong with this amp & price.

Support:
Have had no probs with it yet.

Overall:
I havent played any gigs yet with this amp, But from playing it in my house I no it defintly has the potential too. If you have a budget of $200-$300 I would go with this amp! Theres no way you could be disappointed with it. I can tell by the quality of this amp I will have it for many years to come.

I love the built in tuner, and the footswitch was a great touch, not having to buy one, 99 effects is a ton, having trouble figuring out how to adjust them though.

Quality:
great! I bought a 'B-stock' model, it has about a dime sized hole in the covering on the bottom of the left side, definately worth the $50 discount to me, I didn't even notice until my wife pointed it out.

Value:
All these features, 2x30 watts of power, included footswitch, Jensen speakers, for less than $200? Are you kidding me?

Desirability:
Good looks and nice features

Sound:
I like the two channels, you can go easily from clean to distorted, and back, and different types of clean and distortion. The built in effects are nice, but kind of hard to figure out - will take some time since there are 99 of them!

Support:
haven't had any problems yet, but the website has all the manuals and help you should need

Overall:
I expect this to become a solid performer and I will have lots of fun with this amp.

$200 amp with 2 10's, Jensen no less, and included footswitch! And the built in tuner is a nice touch. 2 independent channels make it easy to go from clean with with bright highs to high gain roar with bumping lows.

Quality:
It's sturdy, and seems like it can take plenty of abuse. I was impressed with the heavy duty footswitch, I stomp my DS-1 pretty hard and I don't have to hold back on this footswitch.

Value:
I paid $140 for it blemished plus $6 dollars shipping(can't beat that) that's even less than the used heads in the pawn shops. And like i said before it's plenty loud.

Desirability:
It's aesthetically simple, all black with silver corners. Not much too say about looks, but it's the inside that matters, right?

Sound:
SWEET!! The amp, mode, and speaker simulations can take it from buttery California pop/punk to crunchy british metal. and it is plenty loud for my church youth band.

Overall:
I'll hang onto this for a long time it is more than worth what i paid even with the broken knob. I can always add another speaker cab:)

i actually really enjoyed the features with the behringer fcb 1010 you have a complete effect board at your feet! :) i like the footswitch its quite nice and handy the FX sound pretty goood too me i guess other people dont like them but i there perfect if you dont need anything FX intensive use a whole bunch of fx is a cop out anyway soo ehh those compressor on the fx is nice too keeps a nice clear sound when i crank it

Quality:
built like a tank i love it

Value:
200$ for somehting that sounds this incredible... i wish i could rate it an 11

Desirability:
the pictures are kinda lame.... but when you get it it looks quite sexy theres sexier out there though

Sound:
amazing sound quality it sounds great cranked and you can easily make this thing sound like a mesa boogie it was made 2005 sooo new technology it just shows how modeling amps have grown with time i would personally say it sounds like a tube amp and suprizingly great for metal, hardcore, and even polka! and the clean sounds quite nice a few really nice clean sounds you kinda have too mess with the dial though if you goo past tweed(amp mode) or flat (speaker mode)

Support:
they shipped it within a day of my order.. and i got it two days after they shipped it with the free ground shipping soooo i liked it

Feature:
So many features it'll take me months to learn them all. Seriously, reading the hand out that comes with it is important. Behringer supplied pedal is a nice touch. It does what its supposed to do so I dont have to go buy one. I don't seem to get that lag others have reported so I'm happy.

Quality:
Built like a Panzer. Fit and finish are fabulous. You'd think it was made in Germany for pete's sake! Its a little heavy for my old back but I just let it sit in the family room corner. I bought a 108 for practice at work. It' easier to carry.

Value:
There are a lot of amps out there for 200+/- bucks so competetion is fierce, but I'd have to say dollar for dollar - feature for feature this amp has won. Otherwise I would've bought something else - DUH!

Desirability:
It's an amp. We make beautiful noise together!

Sound:
The various amps settings are great. If you can't find your sound style with this amp you don't have one. The two channels are great for switching between. I use Tweed/Hi/US on 1 and Brit/Hot/UK on 2. This, combined with one effect on each channel dialed in to switch between makes for a lot of fun noise.

Support:
I Used the website already with a ?. Got the answer right away.

Overall:
I expect this amp will last me as long as my wife will tolerate the noise. Which is probably forever. She gets a kick out of me and my guitars.

Feature:
Again price comes to mind. The amount of features you get & user friendly is what this amp is about. I love the two channel feature, where you can go from crystal clean to any sound you can dream of in a heart beat via foot switch. The on board tuner is also an added benefit

Quality:
This is a very good question, but based on the rock solid construction & the quality control for this amp I gave it a nine, but time will be it's biggest test, stay tuned.

Value:
This amp can easily cost 3 times the amount I paid.

Desirability:
Again based on the price & features it is agreat addition to my amp collection.

Sound:
This amp is one of the most diversified amps you will find out there at any price, which make it an astonishing value. I love a 2-10 combo. A tube amp is my first preference but at the price I paid for this, I couldn't afford not to give it a try and certainly glad I did.

Support:
No experience with Behringer at this & I hope not have any

Overall:
In this price range there is absolutely nothing else in its class.
